The question is… What if we pump an eight year old full of tren?
Will he break the Guiness word book of records for deepest voice?
Little Hercules (Richard Sandrak) supposedly took steroids at a very young age as he was apparently drugged by his father.
East German doping scandal also included young athletes given strong androgens like methyldihydrotestosterone. Some of the women developed symptoms of virilization, including a deepening of the voice and enlargement of the larynx, but I’m not sure of the men
If I recall correctly, androgen exposure works differently in the prepubertal body in that they can actually kickstart puberty at a young age. In young men with CDPG, low dose testosterone is sometimes given to “boost” them into puberty quickly.
Not sure if androgen exposure at a young age would alter the tone of one’s voice moreso relative to what going through puberty would do.
I doubt there is any data on this, though it’s not like supraphysiological dosages of androgens haven’t been given to kids (aplastic anaemia, Fanconi Anaemia, cachexia etc)… I just doubt they’d report on voice tone (though precocious puberty would be noted).
Androgen exposure may affect skeletal maturation, though this is controversial. Low dose AAS (that don’t aromatise and are highly anabolic) have been used to treat idiopathic short stature. Studies are conflicting, oxandrolone appears to be fairly effective, fluoxymesterone appears to be too androgenic, testosterone appears to boost linear growth in correlation with pubertal development but doesn’t alter final adult height.
Now we have growth hormone, but it’s tricky to qualify for and it’s very expensive. Generic oxandrolone with a legitimate script + medical insurance probably isn’t that expensive.
@readalot, how much did oxandrolone cost you per tablet? If someone was taking 5mg/day I imagine it’d be fairly cheap even on a private script.
I go on tangents… I have ADHD…
