Deck of Cards Energy Systems Work

Did it before only made it to 47 cards couldn’t do more.

here’s what i did:
Spades = squat cleans
Hearts= push ups
Clubs= pull ups
Diamonds= sit ups

it was a bitch had my best friend at the gym he was holding the deck and would reveal the card and i’d do the number on them. Every 10 cards i took 30 seconds of rest. helped me a lot during my rowing days

Just Ran this today at York College of PA:

4 Groups:
Rotate Groups after 13-17 Card

If Jokers are in deck you double the previous card pulled, so 10 box jumps becomes 20 box jumps, just after 10 have been completed.

Group I:

Hearts: Box Jumps
Diamonds: Spike Swings
Clubs: Flips
Spades: Fingertip Push Ups

Group II:
Hearts: Burpees
Diamonds: Ball Slams
Clubs: Tire Sledge
Spades: Cleans

Group III:

Hearts: Bottom To Bottom
Diamonds: Atomics
Clubs: Lunge Jumps
Spades: Pull Ups

Group IV:
Hearts: Burpees
Diamonds: Jerks
Clubs: Slasher Halo
Spades: Windshield Wipers

ACES: 100 Ropes

Kings: Pummel For :30

Queens: Bicycles for :20

Jacks:
15 Mountain Climbers

Enjoy.

I’ve recently began doing the “Deck of Cards” however I use them for the following: an ace is worth 1 and jacks, queens and kings are worth 10 each. I use the cards to dictate how many chin ups I do and then it’s straight into double the number of push ups and triple the number of sit ups. There fore if 5 is drawn then it’s 5 chin ups, 10 push ups and 15 sit ups. If a queen is drawn then it’s 10 chin ups, 20 push ups and 30 sit ups. I usually use a stop watch and time how long it takes to do a certain suit or the whole deck and try and beat the time the next time around.

I’m so glad I found this,just coming back from injury and this sounds like exactly what I need to get my fitness back up towards where it should be.Great find.
