Decided Not to Do TRT

I decided that I rather not risk the complications that might come with trt. I’m only 22 and I jumped into wanting to do trt it sucks tho cause I already have the bottle paided a lot for it. My lvls were 320 I do have some symptoms but I’m gonna try to resolve them without medications. It seems like when your my age and start trt there are most problems that come with it then beneficial. Not here to change anyone’s minds but if your young really make sure you think about this or really need it to help you. I’m not saying it might not help me but rather just try and see if I can figure out whatever’s wrong with me before jumping on it.

Just sharing my conclusion

Eliminating all other major contributing factors is great advice for any age of male considering TRT.

I was thinking the exact same thing, everybody should have that approach to TRT.

Clean, healthful diet with supplements targeted where bloodwork shows deficiency (e.g., many are low on D3) + a good fitness program would be the best places to start. With your body’s response from exercise stress such as weights, and the right raw materials from your diet may help solve your T issues.

In my case, I had already dropped 35 lbs of fat, and fixed my diet. . then went on TRT. But then again, I’m 45 and showed predictable T levels for my age.

Totally agree with above, especially at your age. If you are having symptoms and want to consider something without jumping into TRT, you may want to get your E2 checked and, if above the 20s, might want to consider an AI without any TRT. Remember that lowering you’re E2 can raise your T into a more normal range for your age.

In the study, Group1 took 1mg every day for two weeks and had their E2 level decrease from 26~ to 17~ … how is that possible?

Why didn’t their E2 go much lower than that from such a high dose? even though their E2 wasn’t high to begin with? am I missing something?

On TRT that dose will normally kill your E2 because your HPTA is not functioning and you have only so much E2 available.

But they were not on TRT, so their HPTA compensated.

Good for you bro. Great decision. Im 20 years older and would not get off HRT and feel like crap, but do wish there was a way to resolve hormone issues without needing to pin for life.

At the time I was having issues I could not find anyone experienced with re-starts, but I would have loved to if someone was really good at it. I did wait a year though doing diet, lifestyle, sleep, changes in recovery etc and they still kept dropping so I had to do it.

Nothing wrong with that you said you tried to see if it could be changed without it kept dropping so that understandable. I do some weed and have done opials in the past so that’s probly were mine back from but how you been doing on it it treating ya well?

For me it was a life changer…mentally and physically…improved cognitive function, sleep, mood, depression, chronic fatigue, etc…totally a game changer, but I also did tons of work with nutrition, supplementation, meditation, PT, deep tissue work, I attacked my health problems from every angle…its work, like lots of work but the other option is to live a lower quality life

I hear that the good thing about all that is I enjoy taking care of my body and now that I started the trt (day 3), I’m really gonna get serious on the diet . I deffienly feel like my body’s gonna need to get used to this nothing hurts but feel a little werid maybe I’m thinking about it to much. How’d you feel during the first month maybe I’ll start mediating a little

Did I miss something…It sure didn’t take you long to change your mind. And after all the good advice.??

Young and dumb

Nobody should follow my decision. I might not even go back but don’t take my word
