Deca for Rehab?

I’ve been troubled by a soft tisue injury (physio) for over a year. I’ve rested the area, had two courses of anti inflammatories, physio and am currently undergoing accupuncture treatments. Would taking a course of deca speed the healing process and at what dosage? Any help greatly appreciated.

Bushy,

I don’t know why I didn’t think to consult you earlier…

Anything gonna help knee cartilidge? I had a knee scope done and I am curious.

Well, not to hijack the OP but why don’t you have a look at ‘alflutops’. It sounds to me like a fookin wonderful bit of kit. So much so that I’m on my second day of a 30 day course.

Basically, it does (or is claimed to do) just about every positive thing that a joint/ligament/tendon needs.

Anti-inflammatory, analgesic, pro-collagen 1 promoter, anti-hyaleuronaise (the enzyme that beaks down hyaleuronic acid - one of the components of hyaline cartilage), speeds up generation of fibroblasts and chondroblasts, increases viscosity of synovial fluid.

I may have missed a few things (and possibly made one or two up in my excitement, lol), but you get the picture.

I will provide a report on my experience for any interested parties.

Looking forward to hearing your results. Im still trying to overcome a Chronic case of Tennis Elbow that will NOT go away.

i to had surgery done to my knee involving cartilage and it is now more messed up than ever, i have a feeling the cartilage didnt regrow as planned. So i am to curious about steroids and therapy.

Could you give a little more detail about the injury please? “Soft tissue” covers a lot of tissue, lol…

He He
It’s the right side of my neck, just above where the clavicle attaches to the rib cage (don’t know the name of that joint, sorry). X-ray shows joint is normal. There is also some loss of mobility: I cannot tilt my head as far left as I can to the right. Trying to scratch my right shoulder with my left hand is quite painful…if that helps?

I’m interested in learning more about this stuff…

sigh

I love roids…

Both, the physio and a friend, who is a sportsmassage therapist, have suggested the SCM as the most likely root of evil. Both recommended gentle stretching and that does alleviate the discomfort. I was (almost) pain free for quite a while, but instead of sticking with the pink dumbells I went back to weighted pull ups and they really aggrevated my condition. The accupuncture seems to be working, so maybe I won’t need to cross over to the “dark side”.
I’ve never heard of alflutops, I’ll need to ask my friendly neighbourhood supplier.
