Death to the 'Teddy Bear' Teacher!!!

The people of the Muslim religion seem to have a really fucked up culture. I don’t know if this is the fault of the Muslim religion or other factors but it is the case. Remember all the Muslims celebrating in the streets when the World Trade Center went down?

My next pet, whether it is a dog, a hamster or a goldfish will be named Mohammed. This will be done as a deliberate insult to the people of Islam.

All the Muslims? I remember everyone around me at the time (I was in a majority-Muslim country) got really pissed at the murderous bastards. I remember people marching in the streets to denounce those heinous acts. I remember Muslims who lost their lives and loved ones when the World Trade Center went down.

Palestinians did celebrate in the streets. Why? Go figure. All I know is that a lot of American money and weaponry play a substantial role in the brutal military occupation, repression, and murder of their people.

A word to the wise: Don’t do it in Sudan.

Josephus on Jesus - Wikipedia
Well, it’s disputed by Christian scholars, but they have a vested interest in upholding their version of it.

I have yet to see a secular scholar support the thesis that the writings we have of Josephus are original and unaltered.

Here’s an insightful analysis of the crisis:

Josephus, the first century historian, did record the existence of a man named Jesus, who did “extraordinary things”. He was a secular historian, not religious.

Really? I know their were plenty of stories about men EXACTLY like Jesus, in that they claimed to be the son of God, were born to a virgin, were crucified and resurrected but none actually named Jesus in secular history.

I’ll try looking him up.

It really makes no difference. Jesus as a character or a man is still an awesome dude.

As they should have.

But where are these people’s voice today.

Here ya go, check this out:

interesting as hell, I don’t know if this is true, but the dude spends a lot of time comparing Krishna and Christ. I read this, googled Krishna and found that the two stories couldn’t have been more different.

Oh well, read some and see what you think.

I believe he was a character created by the Essenes to carry on their beliefs after their cult was destroyed by the Romans after the siege of Jerusalem. His life and teachings may be an allegory of this.

There’s very little image left to damage, so the overall impact will be minimal.

“Each time we have stories like these, that distort what Islam stands for or misrepresents what the compassion of Muslim law stands for, then we have repercussions and people begin to feel that Islam has no place in modern society…”

I’m so tired of hearing that same lame excuse every other day. How incredibly odd that everything that transpires from Islam is always another atrocity or butchery, always committed by “false muslims” who don’t represent the majority… At some point, it doesn’t fly anymore (no pun intended).

Since the majority is held completely hostage by that nutcase minority, I propose that we liberate them by passing a world-wide ban on Islam. Make it illegal with severe penalties for believers. I’m sure the weak and completely helpless majority will thank us for delivering them from such an untenable situation.

…maybe they feel that way because…uh…it HAS no place in a modern industrial society?

Even as an historical footnote, it’d still be a shameful monument to mankind’s stupidity.

Scathing, but on target.

I find it interesting that the resident Muslim apologist has not responded…
Harsh, but a lot of good points are made. They have made themselves look dumb and irrelevent to world wide opinion. At least everybody except our left leaning freinds in washington who seem to enjoy a perpetual state of denial. I don’t think a world wide ban is necessary. It will collapse under the weight of it’s own stupidity; or maybe, just maybe this supposed majority that exists will stop protecting the extremist nimrods and actually clean house and fix thier own religion.

BTW as predicted, by me, this “teacher” is as dumb as I thought she was. She’s terribly sorry for offending people, recommending that somebody go fill the "2nd year teaching position, etc. Doesn’t seem pissed at all that she was jailed for absolutely no reason.

Some people have an extraordinary capacity to forgive. Take those people who forgive those who murdered their children. This woman just spent a short time in jail. At the time she may not have been aware that people were calling for her head or a public whipping.

I didn’t say every Muslim. I said all the Muslims celebrating. In the US we saw footage of various Muslim cities in the act of “celebrating”. It wasn’t just in Palistine.

And, by the way, the Palistinians would wipe out Jerusalem if given the chance. Israel needs to be heavy handed if they are to survive.
on edge wrote:

I know full well what you wrote. I just disambiguated it.

No, it was Palestine. And their religion has nothing to do with why they celebrated. It was their nationalist fiber talking. This distinction is crucial if you want to understand the situation.

Of course, I’ll be happy to review any verifiable source you might have that supports your “It wasn’t just in Palistine”[sic] claim. Surely, in the digital age, such an outrageous footage would be all over the web.

I understand. But let’s not turn this into yet another chicken-egg discussion. It is obvious who the original aggressor was, but the situation is far more complex than we can ever hope to cover. So, let’s just leave it at that.

She was not aware. I saw an interview with her last night and she had no idea what was going on because she had no access to the news in jail.

in east africa in this area if any of you have been there you can testify that…religion is bogus and is used by the few that are educated to have an edge on those who are not…the word miracle is used on every second church islamic or christian… many of these ‘churches’ merely being corrugated iron sheds…the people are completely confused as they are brainwashed by these power hungry men with negative agendas.

True enough. If she is that forgiving and not a blithering idiot then I commend her for her capacity to forgive. However, if she goes and puts her self in harms way again, then I will just write her off as a moron and wish her luck with her future captors.

This woman is your typical British, liberal predjudiced, idiot. The British foreign office totally screwed up by letting the two muslim peers go and get her out of jail.

Now all those protesters who were out calling for her head have another reason to be pissed off over this.

I will not be surprised to see bombs going off in the tube again over this.

If it does happen it will be a high price to pay just to save that stupid cow from doing a week in jail.

So the stupid in this story comes from the woman who’s “crime” is letting kids name a teddy bear, and not the crowds of peace-loving muslims clamoring for her head?

Pookie you must not have read any of the cows comments after she was released. She said she had no idea that naming a teddy mohammad would cause so much outrage. What roch has she been living under? People died over cartoons about mohammad. Except for noone dying yet, this whole affair is not out of character for muslims.

She is your typical dozy Brit who has no idea about Islam. As bad as the people in Sudan are behaving about the whole affair, she is an idiot for going there.

The people in the British government are even bigger idiots for getting her out early. Now the Sudanese who wanted her head have even more reason to feel that justice has not been carried out and they have been humiliated by the British.

That’s a lot of labels. I’m not sure Brits will be so happy with your “typical British” bit.

What the hell’s the matter with you? She was unjustly jailed because of her citizenship/colour/faith. Did you want an innocent teacher to remain a pawn between London and Khartoum?

Let 'em. The protests were undoubtedly organized by the Bashir government anyway.

I would be.

Stupid cow yourself!
