But if it is wrong to drink milk from animals - wouldn’t it follow that it is wrong to breast feed your children?

Babies (and embryos, for that matter) are parasites, so they’re just fulfilling their niche in nature.
One of the requisites of being a parasite is being of a different species.

Actually, that’s probably the only really good part. They are going to have a hard time fulfilling their vegan diet requirements in prison, and few sympathizers to assist them.

I am glad this happened. I think it is sad that a baby lost its life, but how much neglect does it take to avoid noticing your baby is wasting away and that 3lbs isn’t exactly healthy body weight for a newborn?
I honestly consider parents who cause their children to be massively obese are in the same boat…they just haven’t committed murder yet.
Being a “vegan” is a choice for most people. That means it is also a choice to allow your kid to die because you are either too ignorant or too arrogant to change what you want to believe to make sure the child is healthy.
I hope they feed the couple nothing but meat. I also wonder how long it will take the father to realize that he might just need some size on him (a little more than soy can provide alone) if he plans on surviving in the yard.

Put a live baby cow in the cell, eat…die…its a win win situation. Vegans that dont eat animals because its sad or wrong kill me. Life is pain, everyone is a monster to something, learn it and move on, but dont mentally masturbate about how you are a kinder gentler human…at the cost of your childrens survival at that. Kids getting abused with no way to defend against it slays me. rant over
