Sooo, who likes the new Behemoth album?
I finally listened to it, I think it’s a pretty solid Behemoth album all the way through. Like I stated before, I really don’t understand where all the hate is coming from, there is nothing on this album that indicates that Behemoth has changed their sound, or anything like that.
My first Behemoth album was Zos Kia Cultus, and I think the new one comes pretty close to that one.
I liked Zos Kia Kultus, I just think they’re closing themselves down a bit.
Do you guys listen to DM while you train? I just blast the CC or some Slayer. It does the job
I’m spoiled, I’m a powerlifter at a powerlifting gym and blast metal through the stereo system, it’s nice listening to brutal music while benching.
I bet that’s nice.
I only listen to DM when I train. It’s usually the more technical (SS, Odious, Origin, etc) or classic American style (Cannibal, Suffocation, Immolation, Morbid Angel, etc.)
This was blasting through the stereo while I was training today.
The song has really grown on me, and I started to learn it on guitar.
Joe Haley has amazing feel in his riffs, and really personalize every riff, and their variations.
Damn, I really need to boot (Ob)Servant back up I reckon. I have no idea why, but it seems like I’m always mixing up SOP and Psycroptic.
Speaking of, isn’t SOP either making a new CD, or its members are teaming up with someone else for a dream team?
Two very talented and competent musicians has recently joined Spawn of Possession.
Matthew Chalk (Ex-Psycroptic) is going to handle the vocal and lyric writing.
Christian Muenzner (Obscura, Ex-Necrophagist) is going to do the Lead Guitar part and unleash his madness
into the multicoloured and distorted universe of Spawn of Possession. The Line-up is now complete:
Vocals - Matthew Chalk
Bass - Erlend Caspersen
Drums - Richard Schill
Guitar - Christian Muenzner
Guitar - Jonas Bryssling[/quote]
That would make sense, with the the band changes and what not. Either way, they both kill it.
I was browsing the store at Unique Leader today and saw an ad for The Ordher’s new CD. Hadn’t heard their first one; I’m impressed.
Also, if anyone’s not heard the new Vomit the Soul. (Damn, I love Unique Leader.)
