Oh herro.
These guys kind of remind me of Rings of Saturn initially, technically-speaking.
Have you guys heard anything from Dying Fetus’s new CD coming out soon? They totally covered a Bolt Thrower song…

Just a heads-up (not just to you, I only quoted that particular post/vid as an example), if you guys post vids/audio-only youtube links… You can usually find the songs in standard quality too, not just the super-compressed shit.
If someone doesn’t know the song/band and listens to this, well… (although Origin have a fairly ugly production on that album either way).
For comparison, here’s the standard quali link (without the weird channel problems etc). Couldn’t find a good one without vid though:
I’ve noticed this a lot not just in this thread…
Do you guys usually not notice (maybe it’s not as obvious when you listen via hi-fi/sound system compared to my headphone set-up?) or don’t care?
(no knock on any of you, I’m just wondering)

I like to think that I generally look for the best quality possible, but I think sometimes, because it’s death metal, when I hear shitty production values I just kind of accept that that’s the way it is… lol.
Good posts Gret! Shame that band makes such short songs… I hate that!
Really don’t have much new to post atm, unfortunately.
I would NOT be doing my duty if I didn’t include some legitimate brutal death metal bands first.
- YouTube (omg omg omg)
Very thrashy. Almost a perfect mix of Thrash/Death IMO.
Lol God I’m a sucker for Slam sometimes. I’ll admit it. Very new
Another pretty sweet Thrash/Death combo. Little more thrash.
*** BONUS*** Wat is going on here. IDK but I got a boner. Not actually a great song though.
omg new Warbringer
listening right now
new Warbringer… new Evile… new Megadeth… wowzor
Listening to whole album through before going to sleep lately, Been having the strangest dreams haha
just found out this band Catamenia, I’m a big fan of their Location: COLD album. good blend of melodic death/black metal
Check these guys out if you get the chance. Listen to “The Fall of Bunter”. Unfortunately they have split up a while ago but they were SICK! Random nastiness!
An i am jealous of you seeing Skeletonwitch and warbringer, however…
Thrashfest is not coming to Norway this year, so i though i might as well go to this thing! Lots of great stuff, including Primordial, Immortal, Solstafir, all the bands of Thrashfest, and i finally get to see Vader, Venom and Gorgoroth!
