You are cute. bout time you changed your avi to a pic of you
your dinner looks yum, well except for the cauliflower those always make me gag a little. But Iâd eat it. Just for you.
What?? The cauliflower is the third best part: 1. Steak, 2. Asparagus, 3. Cauliflower, and then 4. Broccoli, because youâre not allowed to JUST eat steak and cauliflower.
Thanks for the compliment- I do pics along and along but only briefly. Expect the cat back in a day or so. Usually something prompts me to post one (someone implies I wouldnât hold the views I do if I werenât so fat and ugly, for instance). Not sure what motivated this one; just a change of pace I guess.
Uhhh broccoli is definitely better than cauliflower.

I agree, Broccoli is the better tree-shaped veggie.

Precisely.

Broccoli is the ultimate veggie
OP, to help you through all the answers I have clearly and succinctly distilled this thread for you: you are a man-child who should merely have exchanged some servings of broccoli, maybe asparagus and possibly cauliflower for a few sets of dumbell flyes and if that failed, come back to the same gym in ten years with a 1000 lb squat and just take the bar out of their hands mid rep and overhead press it

well, today was the chest/biceps day. I exercised a bit of time until I had to use the flat bench to do Dumbbell Pullovers. I was surprised to see 3 meatheads that were using the bench in turns to do every possible exercise in the world. I had the decency to wait for 5 then 10 minutes until they get off the bench and they clearly saw that I was waiting for my turn.
I told myself that itâs of no use to wait any longer and I asked them If I could use it for a set, one of them told me that theyâre finishing, I waited again for them to finish, then I asked them again, 2 of them didnât mind and the third one told me to go for it, however what I noticed in their eyes was total hate and disgust, How dare I use their mighty bench!!
oh and they were also putting their towels on the bench between sets, so no one but them can use it

Well there is this one old guy at my gym who can seemingly shit his britches at will to get people off equipment, master that skill and your set.

I work out at a gym with relatively limited equipment, sometimes i need a piece of equipment for 2 or 3 different exercises in a row. As long as im not leaving my towel on it so no one else can use it while i walk away for 20 minutes, i dont see what the problem is. You cant fault the guys if they were actually working the whole time.
Besides, it could have been 3 guys working out together taking up 3 different benches, instead of just using the one.

I canât believe how stupid I am for not mentioning this!!! yes, they left their towels intentionally so no one can use it.

If you canât pick up a towel then good luck with those big metal plates&shit.
Hmm are we all missing something here? I take it since there were 3 meatheads it wasnât your personal gym. Is there something special about this bench? Is it as you say a âmighty benchâ that gives you some extra strength and reps? Itâs hard to believe there was only 1 bench at a gym. You probably shouldâve walked around to find any open benches instead of standing there waiting for 5 to 10 minutes. I know at my box gym, benches get moved around and sometimes can be hiding in obscure locations. Or you need to plan better workouts that donât revolve around a bench maybe?
When benches arenât open I might ask people who seem to be just sitting around how many more sets so I can have a general idea than go on my way to do some other exercises than come back and see if any are open. I repeat this process quite a number of times when the gym is packed. On the other hand if its a power rack considering its limited and you are doing curls and those oblique crunches itâs understandable. I might stand there and stare you down =P
