Daytime Fatigue

I would definitely be interested. You’ll have to let me know when you have your plans set. I’m in Scottsdale which is just outside of Phoenix. Very close.

I will be sure to let you know when I have things firmed up. It is looking like October. In the meantime if you have any questions or there is anything I can do to help you out don’t hesitate to message me and keep training hard. Hey, while I am thinking of it there is a college for oriental medicine and acupuncture I was considering there Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine have you heard anything about it?

Did the carb test today by having 200g of baguette with jam and honey. After an hour I felt about the same as when I woke up, after about two hours I had trouble keeping awake. So I guess I do not have high carb tolerance.

So I think I will take it easy with upping the carbs. I will also increase my bed time to 9 hours and see how it works.

Do not sleep more than 8 hours,
If you sleep too long, you are not eating often enough. If your schedule can afford it, have your afternoon nap ending 1.5 hours before your workout. It will give half an hour to eat your pre-workout meal and an hour to digest before starting your workout.

Hi Laroyal,

sadly there is no chance I can get a decent nap at work. I think this would really be a more efficient than getting all sleep I need at night.

Everyone get’s this from time to time. It’s far more likely “burnout” than a diet issue. I could almost guarantee that it occurs more or less only on days that you have work. Call in sick for 2 consecutive days if at all possible. Don’t do anything those days (aside from some enjoyable hobbies) It will do wonders for you.

More sleep. maybe meditation? A soak in a hot tub once a week seems to help when i start losing it during the day. But most of the time its cuz im trashing my CNS. I would say “maybe its just time for a week off” but you only train 3 days a week. Seems like your recovery is in order.

Diet doesnt look like it should give you a problem.

What exactly is “sleep apnea??”

when I was losing weight the first time, I dieted completely wrong and restricted my calories to low with virtually no carbs at all I was stupid, w.e however I did also feel fatigued during the day and would have to take a short nap. Once I began to eat more though the fatigue went away.

Sleep apnea means your breathing is disturbed in your sleep (see Sleep apnea - Wikipedia ). Symptoms may be loud snoring, headaches and daytime fatigue.

It seems to be quite common. I have got a colleague suffering from sleep apnea.

I am currently upping the carbs. Instead of spinach, eggs and feta it’s now oats, Metabolic Drive and Superfood for breakfast. I have not noticed any improvement so far. But I will give it some time. I think it is not the calories. 2500 cals at 187lbs body weight does not seem that low. Also, I do not lose weight faster than 1 pound per week.
