David Boston

Fitone, David Boston is in the NFL and he has a body that many guys who read this magazine would love to have. He is one of the best football players in the world for simply being in the league. Don’t make fun of him unless you can successfully cover him when he goes out for a pass, beat him in a bodybuilding competition or be as good as he is at his job.

More power to him if he tosses up the numbers he did last week…although if he pulls the shit that he pulled on my fantasy team two weeks ago then I will personally pay someone to yank his nipple ring like a grenade pin.

Just my opinion but we’ll see where Mr. Boston is a couple of years from now. Headed for a fabulous disaster…

I love the one remark where the Arizona coaches thought he might be too “musclebound” and couldnt extend his arms to catch a pass!!! How hilarious!!! Now, I can see another reason why the Cardinals SUCK!!!

One game does not make him the best reciever in the league

he didnt say “best”. he said one of the best, and hes right. whether you question his devotion to football or his apparent vanity, you cant question his on feild production. and, when his heads in the game he produces. end of story

Fitone, by no means did I call him the best reciever in the league. I am not even referencing his performance from last week. This man plays professional football–what hundreds of thousands of people want to do and he is one of the best in the world for making it into the NFL. Your comeback just doesn’t make any sense. Thanks white flash for helping me out. Also, BodyIQ, don’t try to bring Boston down.

The mentality of some of the posters on this here website never cease to amaze me…

Fitone…where was your head when you wrote that last response? BBBPLTeen clearly did not say Boston was the best in the league.
And to think some of you may even vote in elections…yikes!!!

I’ve read what everyone in this forum has said about David Boston. Here is what I think:

  1. He was one of the best receivers in the league, but I think he has dropped his level of play a bit. And the off-field shit just makes me see him as a cancer for the chargers.

  2. I don’t think it is a bad thing that a high-level professional athlete is obsessed with his own condition and training (even if it is bordering on fanatical).

  3. Within the next two seasons he will have another MAJOR leg injury (ie. torn patella), that will force him to make some serious decisions about his career and his training regime.

Cheers.

Boston strikes me as the type of player who will make a great Oakland Raider in a couple years.

Seems like he will fit right in, there.
