No, he’s 63. That’s from the man himself, in an email I received yesterday.

Natural for a long time too.

Oops I thought he was in his late 50’s. My bad. Fuck I only hope to look like that at 60.

Fuck “buff referee” Ed Hochuli, this old-timer is the real deal. I want to look half that good when I’m 60.

Draper is awesome, no doubt about it.

I take more inspiration from someone like Hochuli who fits training into a very busy life then I do from someone that has a life centered around training. No need to bad mouth the best ref in the NFL because he has a physique inferior to Drapers. That is nothing to be ashamed of.

I’ve met Dave on several occasions. Know this, he is CLEAN. The guy just eats and lives strength and health. In the pictures posted earlier he is in his early 50’s I believe. But he looks just as good know.

no offense to Ed, but my whole point in ripping the article, was that they are making him out to be some sort of superhero when there are many dudes out there his age or older who bring it just as hard, if not harder, than ol’ Ed “Guns” Hochuli. I personally, think Draper is much more impressive. Not taking anything away from Ed.

Seriously, you guys should invite Ed on this board and interview him or something. It may make for a cool article. You know what, I’m gonna PM Shugs about that right now…

Actually they’re 40’s

I’ll take the physique but hold the veins. Damn I bet crack whores look at him and are jealous. Hell he could inject at 50 different points and still hit a big ass vein.

Yeah seriously, you could hit those veins with a dart.

I can’t believe how tore up this guy is…damn! And scientists say you can’t gain new mucsles when you are past 50…guess they’ve never met Dave! [/quote]

No one can gain new muscles short of surgical implantation.

But assuming you meant hypertrophy, who the fuck says that?

Dave is really impressive, his dedication and work ethic are amazing. It really is too bad guys like him don’t get more press.

I trained with Dave 2 years ago at one of his Iron Online seminars. His hands are like hooks and the veins look like subway cars underneath his skin. He is an amazingly dedicated and truly sincere man. One of my idols since the beginning.

Impressive as hell. But what’s that knot on his leg?

And speaking of Draper, is that book of his, I think it’s called Brother Iron, Sister Steel, worth buying?

Sort of. The main body of text has some cool stories of the good ol’ days in Venice beach and what not. But then he gets into his training and diet section; and it’s exactly what you’d expect from an old school bodybuilder.

If you get it used from somewere than it’s worth it.

He has a unique writing style and is very motivational in a non-hokey way.

Here’s a pic of Dave from last year.

I guess it’s true what they say about steroids making your hair fall out.

You’ve got 25 years old dude with that kind of receding… what is your point?

And yes it does make you loose your hair in certain case, and certain compounds.

It was a joke.
