DARPA Research

Though written rather harshly. Check this out. Just think, most of this can be accomplished by reading and following advice found in t-mag.

Whats is pretty cool that the internet started as a DARPA project back in the 70’s…

I think I ran out of toilet paper. I might just go print that out and leave some next to the can. Unfortunately when you promote a completely one sided, tongue in cheek rant, your credibility on the issue goes to nil. Regardless of the fact that your conclusions are completely inaccurate, hair brained, and have hints of being thought up by someone who watched a tad too much Terminator/Matrix as a kid, at the very least you could have tried to make a convincing argument for them by appearing to be open minded about the topic at hand. Rather the writer chose to present it in such a slanted manner that any credibility she/you might have was quickly shattered. Perhaps a writing class and a “My first research paper” are in order.

Oh Phatman we all know algore invented the internet… and he was a politician, not working for DARPA…

:stuck_out_tongue:

Actually I think it was in the late 60’s, not 70’s.

I think your right about the 60’s. Remember when you actually had to know some stuff to use the internet. Archie, WAIS, Finger, damm I am old…

Someone has watched a few too many Star Trek reruns.

I saw a Voyager episode where Tom Paris finds that ship that has the neural interface and it tries to force him to fly it into a nebula… evidently the author of this article saw it too.

This article blows, and DARPA kicks ass.
