There could be issues with the legal botanicals though…some of them are actually quite powerful and people can still OD on certain ones.

You’ll still need some kind of controls and a responsible use policy. Maybe a way to track ‘who has bought what’, with some type of punch card system they have to show every time they make a purchase…to prevent an individual from taking too much. (sure, this can be circumvented if friends buy for friends, and there’s probably a better idea out there, but it’s just a suggestion of sorts.)

I’m only interested if blood sprays from the ceiling.

I don’t think it will work and I wouldn’t go.

Anything that is started by people ‘who don’t need the money’ usually doesn’t last.

Damn, it feels good to be a hater…

I finished college 5+ years ago so maybe that is the problem… although you’d never find me at a rave or listeing to techno beats in college either.

EDIT: FYI- I worked the bar scene for years on 6th/4th street in Austin. Something like 140+ bars in a few block radius.

If you want to make a lot of money, disable the taps in the bathroom and so everyone has to buy your $9 bottled water.

needless to say the police/ local hospitals thought it was less of a good idea.

Not my idea by the way. but i went to a place that did that.

Damn, they disabled the sink we can’t gets no wata yo!

Dude I worked in more then a few clubs when I was younger…you want to make money? No vampire stuff…concentrate on drink specials and eye candy…both in the patrons and among the waitress’s…a good DJ and lights help a little, but not nearly as much as high quality females and cheap drinks…Unless you go live music, you really ain’t going to pull in many people with atmosphere.

Exactly, the biggest and most important part of your business plan is the part that gets the hot girls in the door.

The second is probably having a good head doorman who knows how to deal with the dealers/gangsters your undoubtedly going to get.

and Third I would say is having a good understanding of how you run a cash business or else your staff are going to end up making all the money.

for sure, my group actually intends on taking over all staff duties, we have the girls , security, dj,- its all taken care of

and as far as finances, we talkied it through with our parents and some other people who are backing us, and they fel its best if they handle all that until we grasp the concepts better- theyve all been apart of business in some way over there lifetime
