I was wondering what are some of the nutrition guru’s opinions are about the supplement delivery system that involves chewing the pill and holding it under your tognue and in your cheek to be absorbed. I believe its called cyclodextrins.? Is this an effective method of delivery for supplements? I have been using a version of ZMA that uses this delivery system and haven’t felt the usual deeper sleep I have with the normal pills.
For that product you are wasting time and money IMO.
Cyclodextrins are supposed to be used to make a less than stellar bioavailable compound more bioavailable by actually going through the skin. Skipping first digestion.
ZMA. well all the compounds are not only digested but wanted. I think they (cyclodextrins) are/can be of use but int this case. SCAM get ZMA here.
Plus you would have to be using like 4-5 tablespoons of the stuff. The cyclodextrin itself add a LOT.
