Sounds like you are confusing Ken Skip Hill (prep coach with skiploads) and Skip LaCour (max OT, natural but don’t mention the ph).

going to panama city beach at the end of march.

Ah yes you are right, cheers for the correction.

bulked from 170 to 190 this winter. looking to cut down to 10% for summer, currently at ~14-16% (same bodyfat as my pics but 20lbs heavier). hoping to stick around the 180lbs range still. using leangains method.

190 @ 14-16% = 26.6-30.4lbs of bodyfat, 163-160lbs LBM
180 @ 10% = 18lbs of fat, 162lbs LBM

in case people think im pulling numbers out of my ass, i did all my calculations and it works out to pure fat loss and minimal LBM loss (hopefully).

Good luck losing purely fat, it won’t happen. Keep in mind you’ll lose plenty of water as you come down as well. Personally if I were you I’d keep on adding size. Cutting down from 190 without assistance will most likely leave you closer to 170, maybe under that to get to 10%. 170 lbs is just skinny unless you’re a midget.

Hey guys,

For those here who pulse feast/IF (pretty similar IMO), what do you eat during your feeding window? And how many meals do you spread it into? I was wondering if there is ANY difference between having 1 big “feast” meal or 2 or 3 smaller meals during you feeding window?

Thanks!

I’ve done both: having a huge meal in one sitting and having a couple smaller meals. Haven’t noticed a difference other than it’s much more comfortable to spread it out.

I eat oats, whey, chicken, beef, pork, rice and veggies.

Yes you do look skinny/small. I’m 5’8" 190 and 8% bodyfat and I still feel small when I’m under 200 lbs. Just because you gain strength doesn’t mean you’re not losing muscle. It could be a variety of factors related to your nervous system as you get more and more practiced in your technique.

i look skinny? LOL

im not even gonna waste my time typing a response to you.

I’ve never cut weight… always been kinda chunky, even when I started powerlifting 3 years ago. But this summer, now that ive switched to Body building I think I might do it.

I agree with wanabebig, mercury your talking shit. He doesn’t look at all skinny in his pics, he looks pretty thick to me.

It’s about perception I suppose. I’m sitting at 190, an inch taller, with 20 lbs on him and even I feel skinny. I can’t imagine someone 170 thinking they’re big if they’re over 5’3".

Dude. You’re still just throwing out arbitrary numbers. Not all people “wear” weight the same way.

You’re not even taking into account thickness of structure, bone density, frame size, etc. I mean really.

Fair enough. I still say he’d be lucky to “lose only fat” and would suggest that hypothetical situations using math to imagine what you look like 20 lbs lighter usually leaves one disappointed when the math didn’t match what actually happens.

I do agree with this. It’s nice to have an ideal target number and “theoretical” rate at which you’d lose weight, it’s not necessarily realistic. Water retention, re-feeds, sodium, so much crap goes into that. That being said, I’d say wannabebig looks like he lifts weights so at some point it becomes all about personal comfort at certain BF levels. You just gotta let people do their thing, ya know?

(At least he’s not 140 lbs and telling people what to do to get big.)

Agreed. Though I do find his name “wannabebig” a bit of a misnomer.

I still have a few months left to put some weight on, my cutting wont begin until july… But once I do, probably start with a routine hitting every body part 2x a week, carb cycling, and as far as cardio, might start off with some complex’s to get me going but once i drop, my cardio will consist of just walking on an incline on the treadmill.

lol thanks man. still havent ventured into the over 200 category due to the fact bodyfat would get in the upper teens
