Cutting Log - Long Term/Lean Cycle

Side pose. Want to definitely bring up delts next blast

If your maintenance calories is 3000 (as an example) then:

eating 6000 calories on a bulk is retarded
eating 1000 calories on a cut is retarded

Cool!

Good thing that’s not my maintenance

But you’re still eating 6000 on a bulk and 1000 on a cut which makes your maintenance irrelevant really.

Ate around 2200 cals today ZERO carbs

Lots of chicken/beef and cheese snacks

Want to see if I feel better upping cals a bit

I can’t imagine surviving on 2200 Cal’s. Haha

Same. What he’s doing isn’t even the easiest most straight forward approach to cutting fat. Could do it much simpler.

His diet is all over the place

Many guys go to 1800-2200 cals per day on a cut that’s getting into the single digits fat. I remember Paul carter writing that he’s been on 1900ish diets

I was down to 1450 calories on my recent cut, weighing around 185lbs at ~6% BF. It was shit and unsustainable.

We’re you on gear?

Could’ve upped cardio and stayed At 2000-2300 etc

I was on gear yes and my cardio was at 90mins a day. Anymore and I’d have nothing left. It was a drastic cut though for about 3 weeks. Wouldn’t do that again.

That is insane. Not sure why I can sustain on this; I walk 10-12 hours no rest at work daily, on top of my exercise, AND my insulin resistance is quite high from years of pounding twinkies and ho hos, and the one day a week I do 6-8000 cals or so of anything in sight. When I try to gain weight I pack on fat very easily before muscle. I chalk it up to stimulants like caffeine/ECA which I use so much to killing my appetite for most of day

Yes 1800-2200 is perfectly fine. Your diet however is a rollercoaster of a mess, not well balanced, and over complicated to say the least.

You can sustain because it looks like you dont have a lot of muscle to maintain so your maintenance calories are low.

The more muscle you have, the higher your caloric demand. Thats why the best way to progress in this game is to gain muscle slowly over time rather than to bulk and cut. A sustained muscle gain phase will naturally make you leaner over time.

Your insulin sensitivity is shitty? How did you measure that? Cumulative Postprandial Glucose as in Area under the curve? Man this assumption doesn’t sound realistic.

180 lbs Morning Weight
Been doing about 1600-2000 cals a day kinda fell off for 3 in a row cheating and eating whatever early in this last week. Back on track

175lbs morning weight
Reintroduced Clen 10mcg/day . Have been off around 2 weeks from Clen and caffeine so slowly reintroducing.
Hoping to fix my terrible indigestion with papaya enzyme and some digestive enzymes. We will see!
Been off Accutane 20mg/day about a mont but a lot of acne is coming back mostly due to reintroducing a dht compound id imagine. Might need to hop back on 10mg/day for a while.
Cleaning up diet even further. Want to stick around 2000 cals for now. Chicken/veggies/nuts and keto mainly. Maybe every 10 days I do a day of 3500-4000 cals but I feel SO much better on a clean diet.
Also, any tips on constipation? Been having to use a laxative here and there despite having used 20g worth of fiber from psyllium husk and drinking 1-2 gallons a day. Like my digestion is just VERY screwed up, always has been. Thanks ahead’

Why did you fall off for 3 days? Do you find it difficult sticking to your current nutritional plan?

Also how tall are you? 175lbs is quite light. Why are you taking Clen when your nutrition is not yet on point?

You look decent man but instead of trying to get smaller you could definitely look into building some quality mass on your delts, and even across your abs.

He has a major eating disorder. It relatively common for people who try to starve themselves then binge eat for days on end then go back to thier “diet”

Constipation is also common with this eating disorder and FYI laxatives can become addicting especially for someone who already has a pre existing eating disorder.

Again what I said above applys to this as well
