Welcome back man! I was wondering where you went.
Looking great, you used your time well. I agree with the other critiques, just dial in that conditioning.
Yeah man its weird. I tried logging in and they said I had the wrong password. So I asked them for my password and when I entered what they gave me, it still said I had the wrong password. It kinda stumped me. But I digress, your gains have been great too bro. I’ve been monitoring your progress since we had our forum fight way back. Quite impressive, I wouldn’t want to fuck around in your bar.

90lbs in 6 months? Fuck am I reading that right? Must of ate like a fucking horse.
you read it right bro. I never ate so much. I think I got a little fatter than I would of liked but I think the gains speak for themselves. I’d feel sick I ate so much. lol

Holy hell that was quite the bulk, and then cut too.
Critique? Yeah I’ll echo the conditioning, but regardless you look damn good.
Impressive stuff DI!
thanks alot man. I appreciate it
dude solid 9.
definatly my body ideal.
fucking BAM man.
An 8? Seriously?
I’d give you a 9. Your shoulders are ridiculously large. Your proportions are fantastic.
Great job, man.
What would you say your “starting weight” was, before you got serious about training and eating? And I don’t mean your weight during your teenage years.
Well done, as an ex-judge concentrate on your posing! Presentation is everything. I’ve given guys more points for really showing what they have got and not hiding it. I know it sounds unfair but BB is all about what you see at the show. Keep up the good work!
Very nice physique.
Your shoulders are huge, what do you do for them? What kind of numbers are you throwing around on the OHP?
sick delts
I agree, 8 is too low.

Thanks man. I was always big and when I say that I mean it. It was more about changing my body composition. I was 240lbs in highschool, but I know thats not what you were asking. I’ve been over 260 for atleast the past five years and alot of it was about changing my body composition. I am a FFB (gasp) here’s a pic of me about two or three years ago.
An edit on the last post. This was the time when I stopped being a crazy eating, powerlifting, fat guy and turned into a bodybuilder. I started eating better, smaller meals, more frequent, watching what I’m eating. Something just clicked in my head about how I had been eating and how it was the downfall for my body. Sooooo basically I’ve been bulking my whole life

The judges said that I placed where I did in large part because of my posing. I just didn’t know what to expect. Alot can be said for experience. The two guys ahead of me had done a combined 20 shows. Next time I know what to expect so I think I’ll be better.

Thanks. The funny thing is when I was younger an a bit naive, I took a whole year off of shoulders. I’ve always had huge delts, girls in elementary school thought I was wearing shoulder pads under my shirt. lol. I do alot of heavy DB presses, seated barbell presses, and lateral raises with minimum rest and lots of volume. I alwasy focus on form too. I don’t venture into the OHP too much because it feels like my spine is being compressed, but when I do I can get around 280 for 4-7.
Dude, next time you compete you will be in much better condition… You have the mass you just need to refine more. If I were you I would never get above 10% your contest bodyweight… I haven’t read the whole thread but I got the impression you started at a very heavy weight. You also have to work out on posing. You have a a very aesthetic physique. Big well done!

I keep hearing two different things about my offseason weight. People say to bulk big like I usually do and itll pay off and some say to stay close to my contest weight. Im not sure which route Ill take yet. I was 280 and cut to 203, and yes my posing will be much improved the second time around. thanks for the compliments

could you lay out a rough sample day of eating during that 6 months? i think it would help most of the bulkers around here.
70-80 lbs over contest weight is excessive in my opinion. Safe bet those telling you to bulk like you have been have never done what you just did.
I’m as impressed with the 77lbs in 16 weeks as I am with the physique you were hiding under it. I can see 20-30 lbs over, but much more than that is hard on a guy.
Great job dude!
Possibly bring up your chest? Your back and back double bi are insane.
