does anyone know if chris aceto still did his contest diet this year? or did he switch to chad nicholls. like branch warren?
Jay was prepped entirely by Hany Rambod this year and hasn’t worked with Chris Aceto for a few years now. Branch was prepped by George Farah, not Chad Nicholls. Chad prepped Dennis Wolf, Melvin Anthony, Victor Martinez and Gustavo Badell.
Not a good Olympia for Chad, all his guys came in worse than expected and all but Vic finished out of the top 10.
On the other hand, Great Olympia for Hany. Jay won the show and Phil Heath finished 5th, plus he prepped Kevin English who finished 1st in the 202 showdown.
I had no idea that George Farah was doing contest prep… And Nicholls hasn’t done well at all throughout the last few years…
I foresee a lot of guys leaving him (or at least they should, really…) for Farah and Rambod…

So I’m a troll because I understand the reality of bodybuilding and would like to know what it takes to look like a top pro, knowledge is power, and if you wanted to get there you would have to know, not to say I want to look like mr olympia or that I could, just interested in the science.
No it’s because the questions are ALWAYS about the ‘secret drug’. Its never about the secret workout or secret carb source. It’s just got to be the drugs. People like you make the subject taboo and are the reason the pro’s will never talk specifics.
Wait, you’re saying there is a secret workout?
Yes. The way Mr O competitors get huge arms is by curling other Mr O competitors. Cat’s out of the bag for you aspiring lads.
Interesting. So they start with curling Hide for sets of 12 and then working up to heavy triples with Ruhl? Seems like a problem for Ruhl though since he can’t curl himself, who’s he doing the heavy triples with? I guess he could solve it by using Henry and English for DB curls or something…

Here is Tony Freeman pre-contest. Too bad he didn’t bring this package to the stage, the top 6 would look a little different.
This is why I love being 6’2. Even if you never are able to win shows at the highest level you still have the potential to look like an absolute fucking monster because of the large frame.
I always think it’s interesting to see some former pro BBers who go into prepping other guys, especially if they themselves never really rose to the top when they competed (but let’s bot get into the whole ‘genetics’ argument here ok?). No disrespect or anything, but I was always curious how Milos Sarcev became someone people sought out, as he never really seemed to be one of the top guys to me, and after the guy almost killed himself by injecting synthol into a vein (I believe he suffered a heart attack as a result or something), I just looked at him as an idiot -lol.

A lot of guys left him due to his rather aggressive insulin protocols, if memory serves…
Got them all looking pregnant, our dear Milos, and that wasn’t their idea of what “big” should look like.
