Why is it when people talk about bulking, some peoples immediate response is “OMG! Don’t do too much! You’ll get so fat that you’ll be considered obese!”?
If dude were like “Yeah Im gonna cut”, nobody says “OMG! Don’t do too much you’ll go anorexic and lose all your gains and won’t have enough energy to train!”
Comparing these two, and seeing somebody like OP who’s slim and active, which do you really think is more likely?
They’re both exaggerations, but point is that we aren’t general population, and all of us make training a higher priority than most people. If you’re lifting and tracking progress, tracking macros, and still dont realize “OMG I think I’ve been at a calorie surplus/deficit too long and I’m getting kinda fat/tired/whatever”, that just shows that you don’t know how to adjust goals.
