I have been on TRT for about 6 years. I have stacked Deca and Test, but I want to add Anavar. I am coming off an injury that set me back, but I am ready to get back to it. I am 185, 5’10. I am doing about 3500kcals, and about 250g of protein daily. I have read so many different dosages, its a bit confusing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If have used this stack a few times. This is what I would run for 8 weeks:
- 200mg/wk testosterone cypionate
- 200mg/wk Deca
- 20mg/day Anavar
Coming off an injury is not the time to start taking more gear. Recover your strength first, then consider additional AAS when you’re back to full strength.
Jumping back in too soon is a great way to re-injure yourself in a new and exciting way.
We read “I am ready to get back to it” two completely different ways. When I said that after an injury, I was ready to compete. That meant going full on weights and AAS. I would have healed as much as I could considering the injury.
Example: When I ruptured my biceps in my right arm just before the Masters Nationals (June), I was back in the gym the first day after I was released from the hospital. There was much that I couldn’t do, but I could do something. I got to a point where I only feared were curls. I found an Over-40 contest in Orlando in November. In September I said, “I am ready to get back to it.” I was back on a cycle and competed that November yet didn’t return to doing curls until December.
This is a fair way to approach it, however most people, in my experience, say “coming off an injury” and mean “I haven’t trained since I first got hurt”.
If the individual has been training the whole time and just being cautious with the injured muscle/joint, then going back on cycle can make sense.
That’s what I was thinking too. See a lot of guys do this tho, cos they feel like they’ve lost all their muscle while injured and need the steroids to see the quick results. It’s a great way to get injured again.
