Injured on Cycle

Hello everyone. I never introduced myself, I am a new member, kind of. I had an account a couple years back, but haven’t used in a while and don’t have login info. Anyways, I am 33 years old, have been weight training since twenty, plus high school. I have trained naturally until now. I am 5’10"-5’11", right now about 205.

My goals in training have been gaining strength while maintaining leanness, and some athleticism. The past few years have been injury plagued, and it is annoying. Left knee surgery two years ago along with slipped disc, broken ankle last year, and rotator recently. Anyways, after a couple years of contemplation, I decided to give it a go.
I am on week 7 of this:

Test E 450 mg
anavar 40 mg per day started in week 5.
arimidex 0.5 mg e3d
hcg 250 iu E3d

I have leaned out on the test, on a relatively clean diet, high protein, high healthy fat, moderate carb.
My lifts are not quite at my best they have been naturally, but I have been very happy with the progress, and how I feel, etc.

Here are the problems. I tweaked my left lat doing pull-ups the day after heavy deadS a few weeks ago. Recovered pretty quickly from that. Then a guy was spotting my max effort bench with eltefts bands, and let me struggle in the sticking position a little too long, and i heard a tear in left shoulder. MRI showed a tiny supraspinatus tear, following up with ortho this week. I have been improving rapidly, have been able to train shoulders/ chest lightly.

Yesterday, I tweaked my right lat deadlifting (on a warm up set). It is hard to fully put my arm up over my head, this also happened a little more mildly the week before.
I feel like I made some pretty significant changes (lost fat and everyone is saying I am looking more muscular), and I know I have not even really started yet.
I feel like I need to really tone it down, recover from these stupid injuries… etc…

My question is : should I continue these dosages?, or is it a waste not being able to train the way I normally would?
I could drop to TRT dose (which I had prescribed at 200 mg before cycle), and run anavar for a month at 20 mg instead of 40 simply to aid the healing process, while focusing on rehab exercises and light training.
Or I could just PCT right now, but I think a light cruise while recovering for a month could be therapeutic.
Thank you in advance.

If money isn’t an issue, I’m going to stay to stay on your same test dosage for this reason: Recovery. You’re going to recover faster from injuries with higher test, and this can be insanely beneficial. I wouldn’t waste your var to heal however, I would save it for when you can give it your all so you can get the full effect from your oral.

You could very well just cruise and recover, and the end result would be the same. There’s no best answer.

Cool, thanks for the reply. I never deadlifted with intensity every week, my whole life… then I thought that I could change the rules due to my “enhancement”… But was wrong lol
