You have to buy me a few drinks before you get to call me “dear.”

Leave to you to expose the harsh realities to me.

You are warming up right ? If not try this.

walk up and down your stairs a couple of times- taking 2 stairs at a time.
stretch your hips out
do some quick very high jumps and sink into the hole like 3 sets of 3.

go sqaut[/quote]

I have heard these words “warm up” before and am intrigued as to their meaning.

Good suggestions. I DO need to start doing a more formal warmup than I do. Heretofore I’ve been able just to use the main movement as warmup, but my body is changing as I grow older. F’rinstance: My voice has deepened, I seem to be growing hair on my man parts and suddenly have developed this fascination for women…

Warm Up - Foreplay.
Weights - Women.

I could write a Haiku if that would help.

Weight: 195

MP Assistance

Chins
BW+10 (205) 10x4 sets, 8, 5

Rolling Thunder
w/u
50x8

Work
90x3,3
100x3

Chins are doing great things for my biceps. I’m not needing to work them at all by themselves. thickening across the shoulder blades too.

The RT was easier at 90 tonight so I did triples instead of singles. Forearms are starting to grow.

That is some nice work with the Chins.

Were you, by chance, wearing one of these for tonight’s session?:

Thanks Jack.

Nope - I tend to wear t-shorts that say things like:

“I have Alzheimer’s. Please help me get home.”

That would be too long-winded. Succinct as above is excellent.

I need to have a better warmup as well. Its not until I hit 315 that the weight pushes me into a good groove. With 135 and 225 I can’t squat near parrell.

The ex-wife used to tell me I had a “girlie-butt”.

My hypocrisy knows no bounds.

even after i warm up with the agile 8, my warm up squat sets usually feel off. it starts to feel right on the 2d work set, if I’m lucky. sometimes it never feels right, even on the money set.

I hate to admit it, but yesterday when I squatted, since it had been so long, I was actually afraid of the weight at 305. I got over it and did a set, but that was just plain weird. I usually like to squat…

Cycle 2, week 2, day 2
Deadlift (deficit 6")
140x5,5
230x5
308x3
352x3 (Let my back get loose at the bottom and twanged something)
396x4 (stayed tight, much better)

Sumo DL
260 10x5 sets

Did deficits today because straight DLs were going to be too boring at this weight. These were definitely not boring. Last set was kinda hard.

Good enough session.

When I was a teen in the late 80’s (you know, big hair and spandex), I was working at a gas station pumping gas. This older black girl (then probably in her late 20’s) used to come in and flirt with me.

I had spandex shorts on one day and she comes in and kind of pulls down her sunglasses and looks me up and down (especially the ass) and says “Oooooooh, chiiiiild. You built like a black man!!!”. One of the finest compliments I’ve ever received.

nice work Tony… you are looking thick.

warm up are you guys all like cracking your neck, doing some arm circles and hiting it???

can I help out with the ‘warm up business’ for dudes who wont do it

from HS on- I always primed the system before wrestling practice

think of all the shit you see soccer and HS school footballers do
and do some of that

maybe I should find post some crap for people who hate to do it?

Two toe touches and several arm circles. Now thats a warmup.

This is how you warm up:

Just for giggles day and since the rain stopped…

Chain yoke walks ~75 feet
1 plate per side
2 plates/side
3 plates/side

love the comment @ the end of the video!

Warm up? Lower body-tie shoes, upper body-pull shirt over head. Love the chain yolk walk. You thinking of finding a strongman comp?

It would be neat to have both of you in the same competition.
