Curious to know and understand WIDTH

Hi everyone.

Just curious to know what our widths are? Biacromial or Bi-deltoid, which is right?
I am trying to measure my clavicles out of curiosity as they’re extremely wide and I got a reading of 25 inches deltoid-to-deltoid, but not sure how to do biacromial – Is it front measured or back? Bear in mind, my lateral delts are inferior to my anterior delts and I don’t take steroids.

Thanks

I think the clavicle from the acromioclavicular joint to sternoclavicular joint would be best.

Including the acromion wouldnt only be the clavicle, nor would including the sternum if one were to just measure from AC to AC, or from the center of the manubrium to the AC. Cuz to put it bluntly, thats just fucking bullshit.

Start lying about things like clavicle witdth, and where does it end? You end up with some delusional manlet like wes watson telling people he’s 18 feet tall and once beat the crap out of an aircraft carrier.

Thats why its important to keep it real. Keep the object the subject so that the subject remains the object. Or what ever the cool kids say these days. I prefer copacetic, but thats probably a generational thing.

Heres a picture of things:

Yep, agreed.

People lie way too much.

Interesting to hear your verdict - so best way is to do AC to AC?

No.

To measure the clavicle You measure the clavicle, and only the clavicle.

Total width would simply be from the furthest point of one shoulder to the furthest point of the other.

Why did you get irate when I said bi-deltoic was 25?

9 1/2 for right, 9.45 for left. so 19.25 inch clavs.

I’m not irate. Language/interpretation barrier maybe.

It is important to measure the right things though. Especially when trying to determine ones potential for fitness endeavors. Like if someone says they have these amazing clavicles, but they measured from the outsides the delts, it could just be a bunch of muscle. Their clavicles could really suck, but by having a bunch of muscle it gives the appearance of them having this great potential when they dont.

They look too wide, have you considered clavicle narrowing surgery?

Oh, you was talking about me? If you were, why are you so upset? Seems like I’ve rattled you with 25 inches

Sad news friend, your shoulder width doesn’t even qualify as “extra small.” You’d better start working on those medial delts.

Are you also “curious to know and understand WIDTH” of your hip girdle. "

Now that is a genetic hurdle that is every bit as concerning and clavicle length.

Im glad you mentioned that… you dont see many or anyone at all mention that. Considering how much of a roll it will play regarding a indviduals waist width.

**yeah, I’ve seen people with narrow clavs and big delts, they can look okay but not that impressive.

Then I’ve seen average clavs and delts look way more amazing, especially if they’re capped.

Then there’s us wide clav guys who just find it hard to build capped/wide delts**

I dunno man, I smell some kinda jelly

Why would I go and do that? lol

My hip width is trash for bodybuilding, too wide. I’ll post a pic of me lean

Is that Michael Jansen in your pic? I love that film!

Hold a shoe up to your chest. It’s really hard to judge without it.

Nah bro. I know you’re trying to get under my skin. I don’t care about clavicles, especially when you look like you’ve been pancaked off the front of a Mac truck.

You have fun flexing your 25’ clavicles and look both ways before crossing.
