Cstan097's Training Log

Yeah I mean these were not the prettiest either. I think Rows are one of those lifts you have a ton of ways you can do it from tons of body English to different levels of tilt in your body. This wasn’t perfectly horizontal and probably had a little movement because it is hard to stay completely still while trying to throw around your body weight like that. @wanna_be does ridiculous weight on rows lol. I’ll never understand it.

Lol I’m reality they’re are week. I think the most I’ve done is maybe like 275 for 10 or so. Slot of really strong people say you should row as much or more as you bench. So when you think about it like that it’s not very impressive.

Exactly. Ridiculous. And if you are saying you bench about 275 for about 10 then that is also Ridiculous

Edit: and I have never been able to row over what I can bench. Anyone who can do this Strict is crazy to me.

Idk I don’t bench :joy:

Well it is an overrated exercise anyways

Calories lately around 1800.
Protien about 130. Need to bump this up but it has been hard getting time to cook meals. Just got a crock pot of chicken thighs cooked though
Weight today 212. Should note I haven’t been taking creatine so possibly lost a few lb from that.

Pretty decent drop for you, feel like you are looking leaner?

I think some of it was water weight from stopping creatine. I’ll see when I start it back up. I noticed it takes about 8 lb for me to really notice a difference and from 8 lbs ago I can really tell.

Back to working out. Not really going to log since there is nothing exciting or sexy right now. Changed rep ranges to higher to mix it up a bit and weight loss is still going. Going to try to find some time to fit in two sled pulls 2x a week and weighted walks 2x per week when I can. Working on getting back to waking up early enough. Right now it is 5:30. Working my way down to 5 am. Will post Prs, progress updates, and notes mostly.

FWIW, I find the 15 minutes I spend with a sled 2x/week to be some of the most effective time in my training. Find a way to work it in!

Yeah I will definitely get that in there. The question is where mostly and will i have to cut something else. I hope I don’t have to but waking up 30 min earlier should do it.

Weight 208.5, waist 35.5. Going well I think. Still have a belly though but getting there. Left is a month ago and right is now.

My lifting has been terrible. I have been exhausted lately even with around 9 to 10 hours of sleep and have not been able to get up in the morning to save my life. Not sure what happened all of a sudden. Was planning on 6 days a week but am getting in just 3 (PPL pretty much). Hoping to figure this out soon so I can get back on track.

Solid progress man! As to the hard to get enough cooking done I totally get that. No shame in adding a double scoop protein shake into the mix. It would be different if that was your main source of protein but it’s not

Also, very aesthetic bathroom.

Lol you read that wrong bro. Lifting not cooking. I just eat tons of steak for protien hahaha. Oh and thanks!

Thanks. The new house is very modern. Really pleasing to the eyes. And much cleaner mirrors lol. The kids haven’t had a chance to dirty them up yet.

It was in reference to this. But I also feel thenother struggles as well :joy:

oh yeah forgot I said that. lol. Fixed it now. Doing a lb of lean sirloin steak a day cut up to make cooking faster. Takes like 5 minutes tops. Eat some rice and sweet potatoes and veggies and I’m good to go.

been much better than chicken thighs all the time and when you trim the fat it is almost as lean apparently.

I’ve been buying these giant seasoned turkey loins from Publix and they are easy and amazing. Been a nice change.
