With front squats and HB, I try to curl my toes, and rotate my feet outward. My feet don’t really move, but it kind of ques my glutes. I find that it helps keep my core tight and get my hips through.
I’ve tried to do it back squat, I go low bar and wide stance. It just doesn’t work with that.

I am absolutely going to give that a shot. Thanks a lot.
For me personally, I’m about finished with smolov for front squats and I feel its helped my form a lot. Something about doing front squats 4x a week I guess. Especially if you video record each set, try to figure out how your form looks, and fix mistakes as you go.

Likely at some point down the road I’ll run smolov. How much did your front squat improve from it?
