I almost got t-boned by a WOMAN this morning. Good thing I seen her in time. I could tell by her wheels still turning she wasn’t slowing down due to ice/snow being on the ground (Kinda weird but everything felt in slow mode for a second). Only until she was 1/4 way through the intersection her brakes locked up. Signalling she was on the brakes pretty hard ahah.
Well I HAD a related story until this thread took a turn towards videos of people dying.
Telling it anyway. I play club Ultimate Frisbee and at practice one time we were doing a huck drill where we raced head to head down the field to catch a long throw against a partner. As my partner and I were racing she falls down and I hear what I thought was a tree branch snapping but didn’t think about it till I heard her start off with a very quiet “Oh my God” and she kept repeating it louder and louder until she was screeching it out. We all rush over to her and I see that this girl BROKE HER FEMUR. She fell over herself and BROKE HER FUCKING FEMUR!! I guess she had some severe female athlete triad going on because damn, I’ve never heard of anyone breaking their femur unless they got hit by a car or something.
I’ll never forget her screams. Horrid.

It’s red going in the opposite direction. And i think the people you are looking at are on the sidewalk on the other side. Or driving on scooters or something. I just watched it again and i guess the guy on the scooter did have the right away because you can see his light turn yellow after he gets hit. [/quote]
If you look at the traffic light for the scooters lane you can see it turn yellow just after the crash which means his light was green and the opposite side light for the car driver turn green which means his was red.

Wow…I really regret checking back on this thread…
the diving accident was nasty, i would rather die than suffer something like that. The football ones make me sick, I was a QB in HS and suffered a Willis Mcgehee (sp.?) style knee destroyage. Had I been a millionaire professional recovery would’ve been easier, my knee is still messed to this day, nothing showed up on initial MRI’s, after they got in they realized it was b/c my ACL was completely gone, no joke.
Dr. said something like "the part of the bones in the upper and lower leg where the ligament attaches were rubbed completely smooth. this happened b/c, as stated above, initial MRI showed ‘no damage’ so I continued to play sports on a bad knee with no stability and eventually grinded through my ligaments, i have no miniscus in my right knee and less than 35% left in my left, all this before i hit the age of 20! this being said squatting is fun!
also that angel of death soccer vid was just an error in that guys source code from the matrix ;p
I read on another forum that the face split video is two different videos merged, the second being from a gunshot suicide gone wrong, I don’t know how credible this info is, just thought I’d point it out.
