No doubt! Just had to point out that hook from the Creed song just sounds eerily similar to hook from “Denial.” That is all.

That entire album stays in heavy rotation on my Ipod. I plan on using “Black” as entrance song for my muay thai fight coming up in December.

VERY underrated band, right there.

Anyone remember alter bridge or whatever it was it was the same band with a new singer and even worse songs.

no doubt sevendust owns

7dust > Creed

but how is nicleback in the conversation? anyway, I’m just pumped about Creed getting back together…they could never hold a candle to sevendust

This is a very appropriate user name for someone to go after a band considered to be a cheap Pearl Jam knockoff :). Just noticed.

As for my opinion on Creed, I’m not a fan at all. Post-Grunge hard rock as a whole ain’t my thing, really. But they had some big hits and sometimes nostalgia makes their big hits sound O.K. now, which is much better than what I thought.

But if you’re the type that can praise that Journey song (what is it, “Don’t Stop Believing” or something?) with a straight face, you should be able to at least respect Creed’s more famous songs :D. Same kind of corny melodrama really, just different kind of rock.

See, I thought Alter Bridge was pretty good!

Don’t get me wrong, I like Creed. It’s just my (meaningless) opinion that they don’t approach the intensity or pure awesomeness that is Sevendust.

I like INXS.

Dude Creed? I hope you know you just lost all your Goth cred. Fucking shame on you. Shame.

And I had hope for you. cries tears of eternal darkness

You want wickedness? You doubt the depth of empty blackness in me?

bud dried in blood, smoke that shit

step into the gallery please, welcome to Hell

Scott Stapp is such a piece of shit. The band is also terrible.

Nevermind. I’m leaving this thread before I’m consumed by the ghey.

Scott stapp is a poor mans eddie vedder.

You should all be excited for the new Pearl Jam album, not a Creed reunion

Let’s make babies, or at least practice.

I hope thats what your pushmepullme name is a reference too

If so, i just may take you up on that baby making, well at least the practice part

Yes. Eddie Vedder is a million times better and more talented than Scott stapp. Vedders solo work for the movie Into the Wild was amazing.

Yeah its sad that Scott Stapp was able to get recognition for sounding like a blatant (and shitty) Vedder rip off

You serious? It sounded forced and contrived. Awful.
They should have commissioned Chris Cornell.
