Would it be fine if I threw a serving of Creatine in with my Low Carb Metabolic Drive Protein shake?
For whatever reason i’ve struggled with taking creatine and thought this would be an easy way for me to take it.
Would this be advisable?

This is fine, although many claim that the ideal time to use creatine is immediately after training.
Thanks, Brian, I appreciate the response.
I should’ve been more specific, I was intending to do this on “off” days.
Once again, thanks.

Yes, that’s exactly what I do on off days. On-days of course it’s best in your PWO.
Do a search, there is too much info. about this. Here is my 2 cents:
From my reading here, it is my understanding creatine is best taken after a workout with salt. Further, creatine only needs to be taken (5 Grams) immediately following training (after loading), and is best absorbed by muscles when taken with salt.
? Research suggests that once fully loaded, only minimal amounts of creatine are needed to maintain the muscle?s loaded state.
? Research suggests that creatine usually needs to be taken only after workouts (see Caveat).
? Reducing creatine intake may serve to prevent muscle creatine transporter downregulation.
? More active and muscular individuals may need to consume greater quantities to maintain intramuscular creatine levels.
? Adding a little sodium to your creatine containing drink may enhance its uptake.
? Guanidinopropionic Acid (GPA) and Glycocyamine (G-amine) are potentially dangerous compounds appearing in several supplement products?GET THE WORD OUT.

I think creatine is best uptaked with higher insulin, ie carbs.
I figure your taking it postworkout.
on off days have it with your highest carb meal, assuming its breakfast.

It doesn’t hurt to consume creatine whith carbs, but it’s not necessary for most people.

This is why it’s suggested you toss it in your Surge, correct?
