Creatine, Rash on Triceps?

Ever since I started using creatine years ago, I notice I break out in a spotty rash on the back of my arms. No where else on my body, just my tricpes. It’s just a few quarter sized areas of red dry skin almost, but almost like scabs. I’ve narrowed it down to the creatine, because if i go a week without it, it starts to go away. No big deal or anything, just wondering if anyone else experienced the same thing.

ive never experienced it, but on my creatine it says on the label to stop use if you develop a rash, doubt its really serious of a thing but who knows ?

Can’t say I’ve ever heard of that. If it bothers you or you’re just really curious, ask your doctor.

I’d give a medical opinion, but I haven’t received my “Internet Doctor” license through the mail yet.

You automatically become a practicing member once you get your internet line hooked up.

OP, ask a doctor or stop taking creatine if it bothers you.

I had the same deal with creatine and a rash on my thigh, just had to cut down the dosage in half and it was better.

Every time I use creatine I break out with hives. I’ve tried waiting till they all go away and I try again but I still break out I don’t know why.

You guys having problems - are you using monohydrate, or some other concoction containing creatine?

Sure its the creatine? Usually when you train you shower more than usual and during winter many showers could equal dry skin. I’ve had similar drk skin on my triceps and I think that was the cause because I’m not using creatine right now. There is absolutely no fat in that area of my body so I think it dries out faster.

yea, I considered it might just be dry skin, but I used moisturizer on the dry skin 3 times a day and it didn’t really make a difference, the only thing that does is when i stop taking creatine for a while.

again, not a big deal, was just wondering if others experienced this.

i have the same experience but i didnt link it with creatine use. could be though.

kind of like goosebumps right?
