Even if you don’t think you’re responding, there’s no reason not to take it unless you’re dirt poor and have to choose between food and supps. I believe there are benefits other than those related to muscle, such as enhanced brain function. I paid, what, $13 some time last semester for Biotest’s creatine, and I still have a fair amount left. The price is so marginal it might as well be free. [/quote]
alot of people seem to get great results from it…unfortunately I didn’t get any stronger using it, but I did get indegestion, I’m not going to spend $13 on something that has never given me anything more than stained undies…

Ouch, point taken. As with anything, there are exceptions. =)
When I worked at GNC there were a few guys that came in and said it had absolutely no effect on them. I dont know if it had to do with the training/lack there-of or if their bodies just didnt respond.
same here bro. I haven’t had much experimentation wit creatine but i just finished my 5 day loading phase and i don’t see/ feel any difference. Im using EAS strength creatine. hopefully it will soon “kick-in”
I have taken different type of creatine as follows:
Cell-Tech
Creatine Monohydrate with Juice
kre-Alklyn (SCI-FIT)
USN Creatine Ethyl Ester
The only one I felt actually worked properly was the Kre-Alklyn. Cell-Tech worked but made me bloated and stomach upsets.
Most people see to rate CEE whilst I personally rate Kre-Alklyn but then what do I know - it’s just how full and strong I feel.
The biggest difference to my program was to up the protein intake to around 300 Grams - that made more difference than all the supplements I had been taking.
I’ve taken creatine a couple times, with no real effect. I’d take it for three of four months, stop for a month or two, repeat. Didn’t lose weight when I stopped or notice any strength loss.
I tried cell tech when I was new and unaware, and whatever is in it that isn’t creatine made me sick as can be.
