Roommate has some old (2.5years) creatine monohydrate. bought it all after reading a MD and used mommy and daddy’s credit card.
htere’s a ton of it, all unopened, and unaffected by mosture. is it worth taking?

The lady at GNC said it loses its potency over time because I had access to some old free creatine mono as well, but she could have just been trying to sell me more creatine. If it does lose it’s potency, you could just take more of it.

Cretaine is not a drug therefor the word potency should not be applied. Think of it more like protein powder or sugar.

So you’re saying it should still be good? To be honest I can’t remember if the word potency was used, maybe it was something to do with absorption levels, I don’t know, it was almost a year ago. Either way, I’m not sure I trust a sales rep at GNC anyway.
It’s probably fine. Unless your in a very humid climate, probably very little has degraded into creatinine (sp?)
