I pretty much hit my goals although my diet wasn’t ideal Thursday-Saturday.
I spent most of Thursday and Friday cleaning my house which meant I consumed 3 meals a day (as opposed to 5 or 6) and they were 4-6hrs apart.
Saturday I ate ‘clean’ but didn’t get enough kcal’s; only 1950.
My weight is down to 189.5 which is a 2.5lb drop for the week. That’s pretty good but I don’t want to venture out of the 180’s. I am going to bump my kcal’s to 24-2500 and see how I feel. I am also traveling Thursday and Friday so it’ll be interesting in terms of diet.
Most people would call this their favourite workout. Heavy bench and heavy curls. Where’s the beach?
But since my bench sucks, it’s my least favourite. But I try and focus that much more since you ‘grow’ when you do things you don’t like.
A. BB Bench Press
10 x 115/135lbs
8 x 155lbs
5 x 175/185lbs
3 x 205lbs
Working Sets
6 x 2 x 215lbs
It takes me a set or two to get in the groove with bench. Set #1 felt awful and heavy while sets 2 through 5 felt relatively easy.
B. Incline DB Press
2 x 5 x 80lbs
5 x 85lbs
I’m going to try and get the 90’s for 5 next time.
C. Squat Rack BB Curls w/o the Squat Rack
10 x 45/55/75lbs
8 x 85lbs
6 x 95lbs
Working Sets
2 x 5 x 105lbs - slight cheat on last rep of each set.
When were you in yesterday? I guess I missed you. I was checking around because I was looking for a videographer. I managed to set it up on my own.
How’s the house cleaning coming along? I’m getting a guy to haul away most of the shit in my garage next Saturday and am looking to set up a mini gym and put together an Olympic set. I want to be ‘that guy’ in my neighbourhood. I’ll l lift with the garage door open, wearing a beater and blasting ac/dc.

I didn’t get in there until 1:45pm. I like to get at least 2 solid meals in before training. Especially when I am trying to improve on a lift (such as bench press).
I’ll be there tonight between 5:30-7:30 to videotape you if you like. I think Court will be as well, so if you want to do something special for your fans…

I’ll be in tomorrow night. I don’t think I want to tape anything for my fans or otherwise. Interest has dropped off as my shorts have gotten longer

I am looking to drop BF % primarily.
When I did my show last fall I did pretty low to zero carbs for a lot of my dieting. It got rid of the fat but I think it took some muscle with it. I plan on carb cycling so that I keep a little more muscle this time, and who knows, maybe in July or August I’ll decide to do another fall show.

Just don’t tell the girlfriend. :-)
I think you and I are probably fairly similar although it’s tough to judge with sweats on in that video, so do me a favour and pm me some naked pics
neelydan is 183 pounds at probably 16%, you figure you’re around what…12-14?

BAHAHAHAHAHA
You’d be sleeping on the couch for sure…if she was feeling generous. Otherwise, how comfy is your car?
it would seem, young padiwan, that we are on similar paths
mind sharing your general approach?
neelydan is essentially 2 metabolic training sessions, 4 lifting sessions, 2 hours of hockey, 1 hour of soccer and 3 steady state jogs through the week

Absolutely.
As you can tell from the log title, I am following some of Dave Tate’s offerings.
Right now I am working through his Trilogy approach.
Essentially I am following a 2 on-1 off approach right now.
My 4 sessions are:
Back/Tri’s
Shoulders
Chest/Bi’s
Legs/Lower Back
And the Trilogy (I assume) comes in because there are 3 types of workouts.
High Volume/Low Intensity - this could be defined as a metabolic session
Medium Volume/Medium Intensity - I think of this as a Hypertrophy session
Low Volume/High Intensity - Strength Session
I am watching how much cardio I am doing right now. I have a tendency to drop weight fast to start then plateau. I am trying to keep it at a more consistent pace this time through.
I’d say I am doing 2-3 sessions of cardio per week. 1 is intervals, the other steady state and if there’s a 3rd, it’s usually intervals.
I am thinking of adding a Tabata session in after my LV/HI sessions.
I went from 192.5 to 189.5 last week. I hope to be around 188 or 187.5 at this weeks end.

Rather than sending ND naked pictures privately, why not post them here so we can all have a gander. We won’t tell anyone :)
Note to self: No longer stop by ddot’s log or risk retinas burning…
