Baby squirrels are generally friendly. Some people will raise them as pets.
Squirrel brain soup
Free-range organic squirrel? I know what I’d do with it.

Here’s a pic of the critter, lol - I saved it from my phone.
I know someone who now has a pet squirrell acquired in the same way. They live like ten years and you have to keep them in a big cage I really would NOT NOT NOT want one as a pet!
If that happened to me, my dogs would have torn the squirrel into pieces immediately.
I think a squirrel makes a good outdoor pet. Just having it come up to your window for food and what not. Wouldn’t want to have one indoors though.
Plus you don’t want it laying its eggs in your house.

Must be, I loled!
Squirrels are pretty hyper, but they’re not bad pets. A friend of mine had one when I was a kid, and he was a neat little guy.

That first little guy looks fun as hell, my missus would probably love one of them.
the one I saw just runs in psychotic circles around its cage non stop. It is very friendly and likes to get petted but just hyper as crazy frack and clearly squirrells should NOT be in cages. Shit I’ve got a pet rabbit and I wouldn’t keep her in a cage.
Funny how these creatures seem cute compared to a regular rat of similar size yet the only difference lies in their furry tail and color, otherwise they would look just like rats.

Sounds like my conure.
You should give him an energy drink and see if he can outrun lasers like in over the hedge.

Its ALL ABOUT the furry tail.
I think rats are cute too.
We had one a few years ago that lived in a tree out front. He would come up and eat peanuts out of your hand with little coaxing. I think they would be cool as a pet, but I hear they hit a certain age and start chewing everything in sight.
