Coulter.....That's My Girl

I have never even heard that Cheney has a couple of DUIs…is it true? Yeah, it is ok to accuse the Clintons of being serial kiilers (wasn’t it Jerry Falwell who helped finance the movie, The Clinton Murders, detailing 32 murders supposedly ordered by the Clintons?). Imagine if Stepford Laura was being treated the way that Hillary was when she was first lady.

Not only did Cheney get arrested for DUI twice, but in was in Texas. In the 60’s, when drinking and driving wasn’t quite wrong yet.

I can’t even imagine how shitfaced you have to be for that to happen.

(And that was in NO WAY a slam against Texas. Just referenceing the “Open Container” laws you guys had/have.)

…but she isn’t. Out of all of the complaining about attacks on Bush, these “attacks” are relatively lame compared to the remarks made about the Clintons. I had also not heard about Cheney’s DUI’s until just now. Then again, it isn’t like I respect him less now.

Just imagine if Hillary Clinton killed someone in a car accident.

You think Anne Coulter, Rush, O’Reilly would EVER stop mentioning it?

Every political thread on this site has the same response. The right’s attack the left’s and visa versa. Sometimes there are good discussions and some times it’s like beating your head against a wall. I like what she said. I agree with her. I don’t like Kennedy and I don’t like Bill or Hilary Clinton. I am conservative. I tend to not like what Lib’s say or any of their views because I am not a Lib. But, I respect them. Lib’s don’t agree with what cons say or veiw. That is what make’s the world go around. Why does it always come down to insulting eachother.

Good post.

I kind of posted something similar earlier.

We all see the pundits doing it on TV and mistake that for political discourse rather than entertainment. A large proportion of campaign ads are based upon character attacks. Political debates in the past decade have been characterized by the fact that the candidates typically agree with eachother on more issues than they disagree, this too is taken to be important debate (its on TV after all, so it must be both important and relevant, right?[sarcasm]).

If people then try to discuss political issues is it that much of a surprise that we so quickly stray from the substantive issues and revert to those behaviors that are modeled by our political and ideological leaders?

“Go down in history!”

That is a classic!

I think the Democrats hate her because she is just as bitter as they are.

I think it’s her lying, slander, and misinformation that people with sense/brains dislike.

You are correct. She does use the Democrats tactics!
Uhh. No.

Testoterone…does this…we rage on the page!

Actually, almost all the politicians are assholes who really couldn’t care less if you and live or die, and ALL the pundits are full of shit, on both sides.

As for Ann, I think she is full of shit, but fun to listen to. Thin as a snake and twice as mean. Her remarks right after 9-11 were the best:
“We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity.” One of the stupidest remarks ever. Let’s get those religious nuts by forcing our religion on them. Idiot.

Bush - Maybe the worst president ever. He betrayed all those that thought they were voting for a conservative. Fiscal responsibility? HA! Spends like a drunken sailor. Hasn’t vetoed a single bill yet. Judicious use of military force - Please. Individual rights? Gimme a break. The southern border is wide open. If Al-Queda was half the threat Bush makes them out to be, San Diego would have been a glowing slag heap years ago. They must be the most incompetent enemies ever. A wide open border and you can’t even get a fucking pipe bomb into LA? On top of this, the Jesus freaks are running the country. And as a bonus, he as inarticulate a public figure as I have ever seen. Just another rich asshole born on third base and thinks he hit a triple.

Dems - Assholes. They have such a hardon for the race card, they play it every hand. They would do no better, just piss away our money on different pork, and get our kids killed in some other country.

I truly believe that we are in the worst shape as a nation that I have ever seen. The only bright spot is the economy, and that won’t last forever - it is driven by the highest levels of national and consumer debt in history. Add to that our unbelievable trade deficit with China, and the destruction of our manufacturing base, and it looks like a big festering boil. It’s goona pop eventually.

Fucking assholes inside the beltway should all get Bubonic Super Aids and die screaming.

huh??? What part of Jersey do you live in?

I don’t really swing either way, left or right (I have not been educated nearly well enough to come to any kind of decision on that), but I do dislike Ann Coulter.

I will give a few examples of what I mean about O’Reilly, just off of the top of my head:

 • His bio in the superbowl program. He claimed that he was an all-conference punter at Marist who lead the conference in net punting average. As Keith Olbermann pointed out, Marist is a club team, and does not have all-conference or punting stats.
You seem misinformed. Marist is part of the MAAC - Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, and they do have all-conference and punting stats.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. Bill actually said that he was the national leader for his division. And you are right, Marist does have a football team in the MAAC. However, they did not do so until 1978, 7 years after Bill graduated. They were a club team when he was there. Sorry about the confusion.

You must have read my mind this dead on accurate post.

You sound like a conservative libertarian and I hope there are more of us.

I just wanted to say that’s the best line out of the four pages of crap that have been written on this subject so far. Personally, I think Coulter, Franken, and Maher are great. They can simplify any subject into a few crappy jokes and thus spare me the strain of having to think too much.

As for O’Reilly, I think some of his statements about his own history are highly suspect, but I tend to agree with most of his stated opinions on the subjects he chooses to discuss. I don’t know if he changes his position frequently as I only started listening to him about a year ago.

Also, Coulter needs to get a workout, she looks like one good fuck would break her.

It would, but we’re still searching for a volunteer.
