Could this Amount of Walking have a Negative Impact on Recovery?

Just curious.

Now that’s a pretty interesting catch 22

Why? Because i’m arguing against some of the advice? I mean, this is a great community and i’m glad that the people are being so helpful and many of them are far more experienced than me, but if I know that i’ve always held a lot of fat in my ass and I just want to get rid of it first before worrying about building size in my legs or wherever, then I would just like to do that and respectfully decline any advice saying I should do otherwise. I know that a couple more percentage points of lard shredded off me won’t kill me.

Also, still not understanding the super squats thing. Why am I supposed to do super squats.

10% fat (or around that) first, then I will start bulking. Slowly.

I am a curious individual. It’s why I read philosophy.

Only if you act on it, haha

Mate you’re definitely at the point where adding muscle should be a priority as opposed to losing some fat from your buttocks.

However I get the impression you’re going to spend your time debating on here as opposed to training like a fucking animal

Well, people can have different priorities

Yes, muscle is a priority for me, but not the top one, so… on with the cut.

Sundays are my rest days (from gym and everything else), which might explain why i’ve spent so much time here today. Tomorrow is a hellish squat day. Thank god for 24-hour self-service gyms that are open even during the holidays.

You are trying to fight against genetics. Everyone has a last place to lose fat. Yours might very well be your hips. There is a good possibility of achieving 10% body fat and you still not liking your hips.

10% body fat is no where near contest shape. You should be able to keep adding muscle at that % body fat, though at 10%, you would be close to making that a challenge.

IMO, more muscle is more important for visual aesthetics.

Also, I would pick one day a week to back off on the number of steps. Move as you would naturally. Maybe take a casual stroll.

You talk too much

No offence to OP however he’s shown up with body parts that have more lag than a 56k modem trying to handle Call Of Duty Warzone, is wearing a pair of woman’s panties with some buttock overhang…

Yet is incredibly primed for growth at this point

But still wants to cut

This is actually meme territory

Seriously OP, read Pwns log and blog. It’s the best education you can get at this point imo

Start a log yourself and show the work your putting in instead of trying to talk your way into gains

This is an incredibly supportive community, particularly for guys who listen and put in the work.

The talkers always disappear in here and return to the inferno fuelled by the flames of minimal gains

Your goal seems physique based, which makes sense with your approach.

Is there an athlete/actor/character than you aspire to look like?

Women’s panties? Lol get bent  Yeah they were pulled up a bit too much, didn’t notice before I posted the pic

As I already said before, the growth is not the most important thing for me right now.

Nope

I don’t have a physique goal.

Right now i’m trying to cut weight mainly to lean out my face.

After that, I would start to put on muscle slowly and see where i’l arrive.

Going by that Barnet, I would say Yahoo Serious or Steven Wright.

Sorry OP, I’ve had a stressful Christmas

That’s still a physique goal, as it’s appearance based. That’s fine then, if a lean face is your goal I would say you’re on the right path then.

OP i think youll find that the two places you are trying to drop fat on, will be the first two that put it back on when you go into surplus to build muscle.

That said. Clearly you have insecurities for the body fat stored there, and thats cool. All of us here have or have had some sort of body insecurity at some point.

Your current bodyfat level with 10-20 lbs more muscle would look drastically different than it does now. I think youd be pleasantly surprised if you took some of the critiques to heart. We all do our own thing, but trying to cut, multiple times, before i was even close to my potential muscle wise, cost me alot of time illnever get back. Prime training years. Now im left doing it 10 years past my prime.

Some of these guys are jacked beyond my understanding… their advice, while sometimes a bit prickly, is dedinitely sound a large percentage of time.

Also, id like to add, seeing so many people talk Super Squats makes me happy. Its the little things i guess.

My goal #1: Lean out the face as much as possible without looking gaunt, and maintain it.

My secondary goal: Maintain as much muscle mass as I can while proceeding with goal #1. If I lose a little, so be it. But I don’t want to lose too much.

Distant, distant, distant tertiary goal: Put on some muscle by maingaining over years and years. I don’t care if it’s a lot, or a little.

That’s what i’ve been trying to explain this entire thread, and yet there’s people telling me I should start bulking and doing super squats.

The advice is solid and comes from a lot of experience, but there’s just one tiny problem - it goes against my goals.

(I don’t really care about my butt so much; it was just an example of the amount of fat I still have to lose overall. The fat returning there is not a problem, since I am never going to go an a bulk again in my life.)

I hope people understand me now. I’m not resistant to advice or trying to be a dick. I have my own plans about what I want to do with my body and all I asked was if I might be losing a bit too much muscle when walking this amount of steps, because all I want to do is hold on to the muscles I still have, not necessarily to grow them as fast as possible. I didn’t ask anyone to tell me what you think is best for me.

Tl;dr: I’d rather look like a twink with sunken cheeks than go on a bulk, get hella muscles and put on fat.

If this goes against the beliefs of this forum, feel free to ban me lmao

in other words, I’m not being told what I want to hear.

This is a well worn path on here. We’ve been through this with plenty of folk on the forum. It’s actually laughable.

I’m sure there’s a forum out there that is focused on leaning out faces

Go and pursue your goals. Good luck mate.
