Cortes' Next Cycle

Also want to add that down the road, plan to end your next cycle 3-4 weeks after the competition. Ive know many guys that have made incredible gains after a competition and that extra assistance of the added test definately helps.
At that point definatley be prepared to buy a lot of new clothes.

I definatley think you should stick to the ED protocol. Especially with that tri tren. You will just overall feel much better. The ED injections will start to be a bit much midway through, but then likely wont bother you too much for the last while.

Definitely, go with the ED injections. As long as you rotate sites it’s not bad at all. I’m running 50mg of tren-acetate right now, and I find myself actually looking forward to my shots. Maybe because I’m still new at this, but I enjoy the ritual every morning.

Jelly

Okay great thanks for the advice Jelly Roll and LillGuy. I’ll just go ahead and stick with ED injections.

I’m gonna assume I should just wait a week or so after the last shot of prop to start the Nolvadex. Sound good?

Jelly how are you sleeping lately? If you have time, I wouldn’t mind hearing your thoughts on the tren. Good and bad.

I’m sleeping great, and sometimes I even manage to sneak in a nap in the afternoon too. I only had problems sleeping the first week. I have noticed though, that when I take a day off training I can’t sleep very well that night. I don’t know what that’s all about, but it seems to happen only on my rest days.

The other thing I’ve noticed about tren, is that I need to drink ALOT of water. Normally I drink about 4 litres of water a day, but now I’m drinking almost 8 litres. And there’s some appetite suppression for sure. I still eat the same as always, but I find I get less hungry in the afternoon/evenings. Sometimes it feels like I’m forcing down my dinner, when normally I could eat three or four dinners.

The strength is fantastic. Scary almost, I have to hold myself back sometimes because I don’t want to hurt myself. I squatted 315 for 15 reps last week because all the gym-rats were cheering me on, and afterwards my abdominal muscles felt like I’d given birth. They wanted me to go to 20, and I think maybe I could’ve, but I thought, give me a couple more weeks to build up to that, don’t rush it.

And you’ll get lean if the training and diet is there. The muscle I’ve put on has felt really quality. I haven’t had any problems with bloat. I’m a little over 240 lbs. right now and I’ve got a better six-pack than when I started at 225. I don’t have a “pretty” build compared to my body-building brethren (I have the typical grapplers physique, all torso, ass, and legs), but I think I’d still look pretty buffed on the beach right now, lol!

That’s all I can think of right now Cortes. If you have any questions just ask.

Man, you know those 16 year olds who periodically post up here asking what AAS to take? Now I know exactly what they feel like: I’m only hearing what I want to hear! Good stuff, Jelly. I feel like my first experience on test rivaled your own. Now I hope that tren is the same for me. Thanks for sharing!

Coolio. Another Cortes cycle thread. Can’t wait to see if this one goes as smoothly. Okay, you had a bit of gyno trouble but you handled it and are better prepared for it.

You know I can’t give any advice on the cycle but I can at least toss in some opinions, physique-wise. You are solid as hell. I remember that when I saw your final pics I thought “I really wouldn’t want him to take a swing at me”. But you have big legs compared to your upper body. More like a Pride fighter than a BB. You will need to work on that. Calves I think are a problem for most folks so that’s a given. AND probably the biggest thing you can do to get first is to work on your posing. And how to use your posing to hide any weaknessess. A BB competitor from my old gym used to make sure his left leg was always slightly angled to the judges since the shape of it made it look smaller than the right. And he took first at provincials and second at the nationals. Just food for thought…

Oh, and CT posted this and it might be of use to you. www.zone-training.net/articles/BBGuide.pdf[/quote]

Maybe I can give him some other pointers. Living here in Japan the name of the game will be conditioning. You have the mass very well covered, but you are lacking in shoulder width and some lat size (from your previous images).

Here in japan their frame is a very narrow waist with thick full hamstrings and calves. Not much you can do against the calve department now, but you have enough time IMO that you can grow into this competition. That would take you about 16 weeks of dieting and the last 6 for growing into the show. In the meantime you could work your posing, buying the right trunks, the tanning lotion that suits you and all the other arrangements.

Damm I hate you (in a good sort of way) I wish to be there and let me know the day and if you need any help setting this thing up.

Great bro I’d love to have you there and to have your support. I’ll definitely be looking for a lot of advice on the way, too.
Thanks!

Sort of skimmed through this page, however I dont know if you got the answer as to when to start the nolva.

I would first check to see of the active length of the components of the tri-tren. Im assuming you have looked into this and found it to be two weeks as you are running your prop two weeks longer.

If so then start nolva 3 days after your last prop shot.

Thanks LillGuy, you’re right, I was not sure when to start nolva after my last shot of prop.

So Cortes have you come to some sort of decision regarding your next foray into the world of AAS?

Well unless somebody gives me a better reason, I’m sticking with the 2nd draft that I came up with earlier. I’ll post it again for any further criticism, though:

Week 1-8 Test Prop____90mgED (630mgEW)
Week 1-6 Tri-Tren______50mgED (350mgEW)
Week 2-4 Dbol________40mgED

Here’s a question to go along with it. Does anybody think that HCG will be absolutely necessary with this? After a lot of reading, I’m kind of inclined not to use it because it sounds like it can potentially cause more trouble than it solves. However, I’m sure the 6 weeks of tren is going to be plenty suppressive. Anybody have experience coming off of tren with just nolva?

Cortes, I’m going to try some HCG for a couple weeks near the end of my cycle, and discontinue use 1-2 weeks prior to starting my PCT/taper. I want to see if it makes any difference for me recovery-wise. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Jelly

Thanks JR, definitely look forward to hearing what it does for you.

Concerning HCG, I don’t recommend the use of it during the last 30% of a cycle longer than 6 weeks. Shorter cycles than that, it should be cut off halfway through.

And only small doses at a time as well.

Do small doses and avoid using near recovery time and you’re ledig cells just be just fine.

World

I like the idea of your cycle as well. However, I would make one slight change:

Start running the Dbol a week later. That’s it.

Damn good cycle bud, I esp. like the tren at 50mg ED, I’ve seen just as good of results with that as 75 or 100 ED.

World, how much is a small dose? I’m on week 7 of a 12 weeker, so if I was going to try it, it would have to be soon.

Jelly

Well, in my opinion, the lower end of 250-600IU E3D.

A lot of people will use more than that, but I’ve had great luck using 200iu as my maximal dose when I’ve used it.

I generally stay away though.

Thanks World, might take you up on that.

The guy I am helping out put an EXTRA vial in the package. Hope I have a good experience with this stuff, because I now have four 10ml 150mg/ml vials of tren!

Thanks World. I’ll give the 200iu E3D a shot starting today. I’ll update you Cortes, on how it goes.
