Nope. Because that shit itself is harmful. Humans need contact and the epidemic of suicides, addiction and self-harm is an indication those policies precisely don’t work. What does work is hygiene. If everyone was collectively 10% more hygienic than they used to be, many diseases would be in decline. And that’s all that would really have to happen. Clean hand rails, door nobs, public buttons, basically the things people touch with their hands the most would lessen disease. Lockdowns, social distancing and masking don’t work.
No. I think they are reporting everything as covid, regardless. We have plenty of anecdotal evidence to suggest mere laziness in reporting can easily account for these numbers. I just don’t know how you would do a proper audit.

My wife and I, and our two sons all have a run of the mill cold right now. Me and one of my sons would have played tennis today but we couldn’t get any court time.
While at CVS today, I saw a bunch of the home covid test kits so for kicks I got one for each of us.
The four of us with colds all tested positive. My daughter, who is the only one not vaccinated, was negative. My family is a small data set but based on this example, it’s easy to suspect a few things and none of them are very good.
- Covid, or at least the Omicron variant, is just the common cold.
- The test kits are rigged for the purpose of boosting covid numbers by giving a positive result for a cold.
- The vaccines make an individual more susceptible.
I don’t know if any or all of that is true but my bullshit meter is at full tilt.

Additionally, my body temperature is 98.2. What happened to at least 102F being the first key indicator to look for?

The case by case fatality rate with omicron appears to be lower than the flu. However it is WILDLY infectious. Less deadly relative to the flu but far more infectious than the flu. Either way… locking down at this point in time is fucking absurd.

I just had the flu (influenza) and tested negative to covid on RAT five separate times. My body temp was above 100
Common omicron symptoms for most are going to be cold symptoms… omicron appears to be far less serious on a case by case basis relative to delta, but as it is that much more infectious it has the possibility to topple healthcare… for about a month…
Remember, a bad flu season without covid can cause hospitals to standstill.

The ideas is that we had the original Covid-19 2 years ago, and then a spate of variants came along fairly quickly. With the large number of people catching any one, there are a great gargantuan number of individual virus units any one of which can mutate into either nothing much of anything, which is mostly the case, or possibly something both highly infectious and much deadlier.
