Coronavirus - What Happened?

Exactly what I wrote according to Internetland lol.

Here’s an excerpt from a social media post by a prominent anti-vaxxer over here:

EDIT:

Obviously he’s misrepresenting the definition by using the words “provide immunity” in the wrong context and he used this to back up a lot of silly assertions in the rest of his post.

EDIT:

Oh, were you referring to my later statement about the data being disappointing? I should have been more clear about the actual definition.

From the article: “But a new, nationwide study of hospitalization records, released as a preprint today (and not yet formally peer reviewed)”. [emphasis mine]

I would suggest we let the study be vetted before drawing conclusions from it.

Further, I can assure you that the clickbait subtitle (“A new study suggests that almost half of those hospitalized with COVID-19 have mild or asymptomatic cases”) is as absurd as it is shameful. Hospitals are not full of pts admitted for mild and/or asymptomatic covid.

Did you read it? They are admitted for other things but if they test positive for Covid they are counted as being hospitalized for Covid.

Appreciate the clarification Treco. I figured there had to be something more to it as multiple tests (or at least more than 2) seem like an unreasonable standard.

You serious with this shit or what? I suppose you can call anything snake oil yes, but at this moment based on the research we have I don’t see how you can call them snake oil. And I don’t see how you can compare it to Ivermectin at least not from a known data perspective. Hell ivermectin might be better. But you’re going to have a really hard time making a case for that because you don’t have much studied to go off of that hasn’t already been dismissed.

Again I don’t think this was even widely argued was it? I mean I didn’t read every article in the world but just by having data that wasn’t 100% effective couldn’t we theorize that the first batch of vaccines wasn’t going to be perfect and wasn’t going to eliminate Covid right away or whatever bar you’re trying to set.

People can get Covid and people can die from Covid therefore vaccines don’t work is the point you keep coming back around to (as best as I can piece together from your changing arguments and language barriers). And I think it’s incredibly weak. First I’m not sure how many people were ever even arguing that and second who gives a shit? Why would you make your decision just by saying that?

Do you avoid a needed heart surgery simply because the doctors can’t guarantee you won’t have heart problems in the future or die in the future? Do you say seat belts don’t work because you can die with them on? How many preventative things can offer 100% guarantee of safety? It seems like your dismissing the vaccines by setting a bar that seems impossible and never expected.

That may be, but it doesn’t impact the points I argued: Hospitals (in much of the country) are at or above capacity with seriously-ill covid admits; the article’s subtitle was clickbait trash; and we (especially the Atlantic) shouldn’t muse about research that hasn’t been peer-reviewed.

Here’s an article taking about how COVID has caused demand to exceed supply:

Wait a minute…that was the Flu in other years.

Despite the relatively high dead rate percentage, we never had real lock downs, or mask mandates nor overwhelmed medical system. Very few people are encountering Covid in their lives. Thus the low vaccination rate.

We also love our freedom. So everyone gets pissed at any mandates. There will be mass protests and government over thrown if they mandate shit. After the first lockdown there were 5-6 months of protests. We currently still have no government after 2 elections. Soon we will not have a president either.

Despite Americans we have seen communism and totalitarian regimes. So if you think regular folks discussing world matters in front of their groceries are worse than Americans kneeling to vaccine mandates, you are dead wrong my friend. Our regular folk will be on the streets overtrowing a government.

What are your lockdowns like? Just curious about what other countries have been doing.

“Relatively high” is quite an understatement. Bulgaria has the 7th highest death rate in the world.

That’s a blatantly false statement.

Yes I do. I’m also familiar with the world class minds that congregate outside Bulgarian grocery stores.

Your regular folk elected a literal crime boss for a prime minister. More than once.

You can try to fool Amerikanci, but you can’t fool me.

And he did a pretty decent job to be honest lol. We have some infrastructure, some governence and we are part of EU. Our salaries got much higher.

Sure someone else might have done better. Sure corruption. But that dude did a decent job for 12 years and he is popular and charismatic, thus winning the elections. He wont win due to the lockdowns and people beeing fed of corruption. But if there were no lockdowns he would win again most likely.

“How’s our beloved Prime Minister/ex-bodyguard/mafia boss doing?”

“We’ll, he’s a little bit upset because someone took a photo of him passed out and naked on a bed in a room filled with wads of cash, gold bars and guns after a massive bender involving hookers and coke”

“Ha, ha classic Boyko! But we must discuss more pressing matters, like Biden’s attempts to introduce tyranny through vaccine mandates 5000 miles away. It’s tyranny, pure and simple”

Well, I knew that hospitals are designed to run at near capacity pretty much all the time, so this is completely unshocking to me. It’s because of this design that any little event can tip the scales of hospital capacity in a hot minute. That’s how the health system got caught flat footed.
The displays of evil and greed during this pandemic have been so evident, it’s hard for me to believe people still believe the mainstream narrative, but they do. And this is just another example.

Unrelated, I wanted to include this new study from the UK, regarding vaccines and covid death. Hint: The vaccines seem to be working very well and where ever you fall politically, this is good news.

Absolutely. Those who recently escaped communism are loathed to come near anything that even remotely sniffs of communism. Being an immigrant myself, with parents who managed to escape from communism, I am extremely leary of it.
But the communist creep keeps happening and happening with cheers and shouts of joy, regardless. And though some have woken up to it, certainly not enough. As the government now tries to impose mandates on the populous now, but conveniently exempt themselves and their staffs as well as illegal immigrants, from the southern border and Afghan immigrants, the citizens must obey or be punished.
The hypocrisy is evident and blaring for all to see, but it’s just ignored. And those of us who see it are suppressed, labeled and outcast. We are not convenient for the big lie.

This may be the stupidest thing I have ever seen.

Reminds me of John McAfee. RIP.

‘Canada has fallen’: Calgary pastor unrepentant at his sentencing for COVID-19 breach (msn.com)

Holy crow! Canada has fallen because the guverment is insisting upon Covid-19 measures!

Sounds like Biden.

I’ve not been following Biden’s escapades lately. He’s not as entertaining as Trump was.

But if you guys end up with photos of him doing shit like this, PLEASE post them:

Almost as good as the Epsteins fuck island. Lets not talk about Bulgarian politics. People in Bulgaria do not really care, judging by voting participation, I doubt people here care. We are fine. There is no labor shortage, no supply shortage, salaries are rising, there are foreign investments and lots of outsourcing.

I gave an example that even tradesman here know the horror in US with the vax mandates. And how things are done for the greater good.
