I just don’t get the continued comparisons or downplays with the flu stuff. Maybe that made sense at the beginning of this thread when we didn’t know much about it or what was happening. But what about 2 million dead in a year? Closing in on 550,000 in the US?
For a long time now that comparison has been weak. Just about as weak as the whole the day after the election Covid will go away. People convince themselves of some weird stuff.
Pfizer’s shot causes “mortality hundreds of times greater in young people compared to mortality from coronavirus without the vaccine, and dozens of times more in the elderly, when the documented mortality from coronavirus is in the vicinity of the vaccine dose, thus adding greater mortality from heart attack, stroke, etc.”
“vaccinations have caused more deaths than the coronavirus would have caused during the same period."
Haim Yativ and Dr. Seligmann declare that for them, “this is a new Holocaust,” in face of Israeli authority pressure to vaccinate citizens.
"Our reanalyses of these data explain why during the massive vaccination project initiated mid-December 2020 during a confinement, daily new confirmed COVID-19 cases failed to decrease as they do during confinements, and, more importantly, why numbers of serious, critical, and death cases increased during that period that covered at least one month. From mid-December to mid-February (two months), 2,337 among all Israeli 5,351 official COVID-deaths occurred. Our analyses indicate orders of magnitude increases in deaths rates during the 5-week long vaccination process, as compared to the unvaccinated and those after completing the vaccination process. Presumably, asymptomatic cases before vaccination, and those infected shortly after the 1st dose, tend to develop graver symptoms than those unvaccinated.
This is complete and utter bullshit. There is absolutely no data that suggests that the vaccine is equally or moe dangerous than Covid. And you didn’t provide data, you provided some emotionally contrived statements of opinion and called them “data”. This is flat out conspiracy theory.
My fiancé and her daughter handled Covid pretty well, than God. Mother and Grandmother have received the J&J 3 days ago. No complaints at all. Hoping to get mine soon. Talking to primary on the 16th.
Shame on them indeed. Because the vaccine will actually stop mass death among the elderly, as the data from the U.K. now shows.
This shit again. Sorry, but I’m really not sold by the word of a couple of cranks.
I don’t trust the WHO, and I will surely die of some, as yet, undetermined cause, though if I keep having to read this tinfoil hat shit, it will likely be of boredom.
Herve Seligmann is a professor at the university of Aix-Marseille and has authored numerous scientific papers and studies. If you want to see the data then look for it, it’s linked in the article. Or you an just behave like an ignorant fool.
This is an English translation of the original Hebrew article:
Yes. His interests are largely tRNA, mitochondrial genome mechanics, and origin of life. He certainly has done work on viruses, and is high up in the infectious disease dept at the university. He’s a legit scientist.
That doesn’t mean he is correct. This information represents an extraordinary claim, and it has yet to appear in any preprint or peer review that I can find.
In addition one would expect the same effects to be seen in other countries (such as the USA) who are undergoing rapid vaccination, since the mechanisms behind this purported adverse “holocaust” are biological and therefore independent of locale. But it doesn’t.
Until I see something more concrete, I’m not giving this the time of day. This stuff was published in a blog not a peer review article.
No it wasn’t. Why should I trust Reuters over Seligmann and Yatim?
Even if he severely overstated his case, it’s still a major cause for concern. It’s also new information and the mainstream evidently doesn’t want to touch it, which may explain the lack of peer reviewing and such.
That’s a rather ignorant mindset, similar to those who once refused to consider that the earth might not be flat. Notice that censorship is a thing these days, and even the study from Denmark showing that masks are useless took some time to be published because most medical journals wouldn’t touch it.
It’s almost exclusively the Pfizer vaccine being used in Israel, the US is mostly using Moderna. That would explain some of the discrepancy, but there are still many reports of people having severe reactions or dying from the Moderna vaccine. Even several residents at my work died after getting the Moderna vaccine.
Also it looks like these vaccines don’t do much in terms of protection:
A B.C. care home where many residents and staff had received a COVID-19 vaccine is managing a new outbreak of the disease, prompting the province’s top doctor to remind locals the vaccine won’t stop all transmission.
It’s an urban myth. That Earth is round was proven by Ptolemy.
The infamous mask study from Denmark is a steaming pile of shit statistics-wise. I don’t know biology, but I do know math and I can confidently say it sucks major balls.
No it’s not. If he was severely overstating his case then at best it’s misconduct and at worst it’s malfeasance. That does not translate to “major cause for concern”. It translates to “investigation”.
That’s not the most likely explanation by a long shot. The most likely explanation is that it was refused in peer review or just never submitted. Preprint servers also show studies undergoing review, so it’s not like it would even have to be accepted for publication yet to show up on those sites.
Lol. Says the guy who’s never worked in science to the guy with published papers and years in research. You don’t even have to believe me since this is the internet after all, but that is just funny.
Yeah. There was a reason for that too - it was a steaming pile of shit, re: loppar.
We knew that was a possibility, particularly among the oldest, most malnourished, and most immunocompromised people. We also knew it would at least hamper transmission and boost survival chances in that same population.
Yes and your opinions are held in much higher regard by the scientific community than the Annals of Internal Medicine who published the study.
Depends how you define that, and if this is how you feel then why don’t you launch an investigation? I’m sure you have a much better resume than Seligmann anyway. Remind me which studies have you authored?
Yeah making assumptions and jumping to unfounded conclusions is very scientific. You have what, a grade 7 education?
You mean yourself attacking Herve Seligmann?
But it ight actually be doing the complete opposite. The potential of antibody disease enhancement was a concern raised by many doctors and scientist who nobody wanted to listen to, and now it’s being dismissed as conspiracy theory rather than investigated. For vaccine that were given emergency use approval after being developed faster than any other vaccine in history.
You can inject whatever you want in your body, it’s not my problem. I just dropped by to share some news with whoever wants to listen. I’m sure the pharmaceutical industry appreciates your blind faith. Have a nice life, however short it may be.
So the issue with this is it isn’t supported by evidence. The fact that the author is a respected scientist is irrelevant until he has evidence. Dr. Oz has a degree in medicine. I’m not trusting him unless he can prove what he says.
It is rationally justified to ignore such claims (especially something so extraordinary) until there is evidence.
I have authored and co-authored a modest number of scientific papers, mostly related to application of statistical techniques, albeit in a different field. I’m sure my scientific output pales in comparison to that of @Aragorn, but I know what I’m talking about.
I know how the pay-to-publish and “fishing for a journal” industries work and you obviously do not. Also, it’s worth noting a common trick Covid deniers were perpetrating during the pandemic, and that was quoting their submitted papers not yet peer reviewed or “articles” not subject to one (Ionnaidis was the repeat offender on the latter, circularly referring his past “articles” in new ones to give an illusion of scientific consensus)
I have also read the paper in question and found massive methodological and statistical flaws (notably lack of a representative sampling), like anyone who read the study, even if they didn’t have any mathematical background.
Yes it does, but I’m not going to get into the finer points with you. Obviously there’s more to it than a single sentence. And obviously I meant the institution and/or journal, not a private individual. But you knew that.
Ah yes, ridicule. The last resort of both troll and conspiracist. Your troll sauce is weak. F-.
Indeed. Considering there are over 30,000 predatory journals out there it’s not a shock. And there are a bunch that are legit but have shall we say… Less than exemplary practices for getting grant money out of researchers’ pockets and into the journal’s bank.
