Cops On Steroids?

What I laughed at was the ridiculous image she received from Officer Jimmy. I found it belittling how she decides to expound upon his experience (of all interviewees) and designates him as the epicenter of the article.

This fool is raised on a pedestal as the poster boy for cop steroid use but sadly, he comes off as a complete dimwit. After 7 cycles and a speech by President Bush, only then does he develop a conscience about steroid use? I believe Sabrina got at least one reaction across amongst Men’s Health readers - who the hell is enforcing our laws out there?! Officer Jimmy knew he was repeatedly engaged in a felony activity but decided to stop because President Bush gave a speech about cheating in sports - gimme a break! Police officers are generally way more discerning than that.

Sabrina hypes him up to be some kinda superhuman, supernatural phenom. Then she includes a 50/50 take on 'roid rage which followed this caption on page 1:

Whatever the true tally, it raises the question of what this means for the average, mostly law-abiding civilian. The next time you’re pulled over, will you be hassled by an officer raring for a fight? If a cop loses control in a fit of 'roid rage, will your township get slammed with a brutality lawsuit? And, experts speculate, do steroids render cops less effective at their jobs, making you less safe?[/quote]

Mostly law abiding citizen? First, you’re either abiding by the law or you’re not. Cops generally “hassle” violators of the law; it’s called doing their job. Secondly, I dislike how she puts things in a less-than-neutral perspective right off the bat with this paragraph, promotes a myth, and plays upon the fears of Men’s Health readers. Conjoin this angle with her inclusion of how juiced up cops have also been correlated to selling narcotics and then spice up the meathead image by revolving the main interview around a dimwit cop and you’ve promulgated a negative stigma on steroid-using law enforcement personnel.

I’m just glad she didn’t reference members of T-Nation in her article.

Peace be with all.

I really think Cops should avoid steroids, as they could really cause problems considering all the blow they snort.

LMAO.

No cops do coke…BWHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

This skanky Ho’ lied to T-Nation members from the get go about her intentions for this piece of dreck fronting as an article…It’s clear she has contempt for men and particularly masculine men, to her bodybuilding is only about dangerous male vanity

<quote:"Jimmy was also infatuated with his own ballooning frame…positively cartoonish…loved the stares he attracted…to better showcase his biceps"unquote>(if she’s not an outright lesbian, she’s sublimating with a metrosexual “boy” friend, I have no doubt!). Like most left-media types, she uses underhanded tactics without reservation, for example:<quote"One wonders if, for some cops, steroids are a sort of gateway drug: whether, having corrupted their code and having gotten away with it they become more receptive to doing other illegal things"unquote>–

This is pure speculation & defamation, with the usual anti-establishment view that all cops are merely criminals, and criminal behavior will result at the drop of a hat(The same mentality that convicts our Marines in the press for an alleged massacre without any proof and based on the word of enemy terrorists trained to lie & cheat to win)…There are a hell of a lot more real examples of so-called good cops gone bad than to have to “wonder” and speculate about virtually non-existant “steroid using bad cops”…All of her so-called examples were already doing other bad stuff, the roids were merely incidental, but to her, the roids are the CAUSE for the bad behavior, and that is a load of bait & switch horse dung used to baffle the gullible!..

I could go on ripping this so-called article to shreds, but it would be a waste of time and energy I’m not up to at the moment, readers here are more than intelligent enough to see through her biased lies and misrepresentations…Suffice to say that reading this misbegotten abortion had me looking like my avatar in short order! This beyotch needs a swift kick in her arrogant, egotistical slats and her spiteful shrew mouth washed out with Lava hand soap!
