â??A guy that just came to my sponsored gym (Miami Fitness) said I was disrespecting him by grunting while lifting 150lb dumb bells so he called the police. The cops showed up in 5 minutes and saw that it was me and laughed. They said that they grunt when they workout and told the guy he needs to go to 24 hour fitness or Planet Fitness. Everything ended up fine and I finished my training session.â?? â?? Kali Muscle

Srsly WTF has happened to people. It’s like it’s ok for men to be pussys and average. I was kinda worried when Kali stopped that set, that dumbbell in his right hand swayed back. If I would of got injured because that Nancy said, stop grunting…that would have been all she wrote. The part that’s really dumb is that he picked Kali to say that to???
Why would they call the cops? Can’t they just complain to the manager?
Seems like waaaaay overkill. I’ve worked in gyms for a long time and have never been close to calling the cops on anyone.
One of the only two times I ever confronted anybody in the gym was a guy that was basically screaming while doing 75lbs on the machine bench press.
I cannot explain to you how loud he was.
I sense a publicity stunt.

^This. While I do believe the whole planet fitness/lunk alarm/complaining about what people are wearing BS is getting out of control, I have a serious feeling that this was planned so the cops could recognize Kali (important public figure he is) and give way to this video.

The loudest screaming and grunting I’ve ever heard in a gym was on leg extensions lol.
“this shit has gotten seriously out of control”
not to thread hijack, but from what movie did this line come from ?
oh, and for the general human population (lifter exempt)
“Cowboy the Fuck Up CupCake and Grow some Balls” killerDIRK (r)
The first quote came from Schindler’s List.
The first quote came from Ernest Goes to Camp.

No one complains when Rich grunts at my gym, probably because his peri-workout nutrition is a human. Seriously though, he is a very cool guy.
The big thing that needs to be cleared up as to whether making noise is acceptable is just what exercise and with what weight is the guy grunting doing?
I mean gym guys can argue for hours before the guy against grunting says the guy was curling 15lb dumbbells.
To be fair, we didn’t see the rest of the conversation, the video cuts out just as Kali confronts him. For all we know he may have threatened to lay his ass out if he didn’t back off; hence, leading the guy to call the police .
