Strong woman. Awesome work capacity. However, I agree with a couple of other people in that it would have been more interesting had the woman posted it; not her boyfriend. We are mostly here to support (and bitch) at each other so a video of a third party leaves me kind of cold. There are a shit ton of videos of inspirational strength athletes, none of whom we interect with so, in my opinion, this is another one of those. No need to get bent out of shape just don’t expect the kudos we’d give to someone who posts here.

It could be said that the women in the forum make it what it is, even though there’s no constitution or posted rules. We’re not limited to logs only, although the lasting “others” are few and far between.
I see that none of us are famous, or selling anything outside of our localities, or overly concerned with our state of body fat %.
What I take away from the core of Powerful Women is that we fail at some things, but we don’t quit. We’re fat, manly, stubborn, and self righteous. Or that we have no desire to be magazine/stage/poster lean or thin, that we value ever ounce of muscle we work for, we’ll pull ourselves out of whatever pile of shit we’re in spite of whatever reason put us there, and that we will balk at the others who dont, BECAUSE none of us really consider ourselves to be extraordinary outside of our day to day accomplishments and acknowledged but laughable egos.
It IS a public forum and bfrancis has the right to post, it’s titled “Powerful Women” and Sarah is one, so on the surface it seems applicable because it is. On the surface.

There’s a couple strong, stubborn people upset with the opinions and/or motives of the posters but it seems to me that the base of the argument is a waste of time. That effort seems as though it would be better directed elsewhere, as there are many other topics far more worthy of the name calling and character assassination going on here.

Carebear - I found your thoughts on the compound really interesting. I have read some stuff in the archives about the Powerful Women’s forum… Why it was set up etc. I didn’t know whether there was a charter or something… I think I might agree with you about how the poster didn’t do anything wrong… But perhaps (unintentionally) was a bit of an affront to the culture here. Because of the women who comprise the forum / make it what it is.
