Metabolic Drive Ice Cream

Approved by Pepper Bear (it’s a pepper shaker). Adorable, right?

This is something I made during the initial creation of the Velocity Diet. Back then there were no solid meals at all, except for once per week. People were feeling full and satiated on the high-protein diet, but missed actually using utensils and eating instead of drinking. So we made protein “pudding” just by using a tiny amount of water in the shakes. One day I froze my pudding by accident and this recipe was born.

Ingredients

• 1 to 2 scoops of Metabolic Drive (No, this doesn’t work well with a cheap whey-only protein powder.)

• Liquid: water, milk, almond milk, etc.

• Frozen berries

Directions

  1. Add your Metabolic Drive to a bowl.

  2. Now slowly add a tiny amount of liquid, less than you think you need, and stir. You should get a thick paste or pudding. Add more liquid if needed, but don’t overdo it or you’ll get an icy ice cream.

  3. Add berries. I used a mixed variety here.

  4. Freeze for 30-60 minutes. If you over-freeze it or want to make several servings in advance, just take it out of the freezer 10-15 minutes before eating. It softens up quickly.

Options

Works great with chocolate Metabolic Drive, nuts, dark chocolate chips, or banana slices. (Or all of them.)
