Constructive Criticism Wanted

This thread is pointless yet mildly entertaining. OP, you got shit because you made a ridiculous comment about going on and off of protein. From there this all just turned into a pissing contest. OP, lose some body fat and then people can see what you have under the hood. At this point I can tell you do pullups and dips but not much else. Good luck.

yes i drew that. It’s a shame the writings don’t show properly.
Ok the small dude says: " Ronnie, man what are you doing? why are you eating a perfectly nutritious meal of rice and chicken breasts instead of a protein shake. You can’t get muscle without it.

and then ronnie (the big dude) says :" Naw man, protein shakes are good but not vital for growth. You can build muscle without it. All you need is to train hard, eat loads and sleep well. You can get as much protein in beef, chicken, eggs and milk.

Your thread is titled Constructive Criticism Wanted, why do you get offended when someone makes comments?
because the comments were about protein shakes and totally not what i was looking for.

Why not try the Metabolic Drive or Metabolic Drive Complete advertised here on T-Nation. It IS one of the top 10 supplements used by people here. ON’s gold standard seems decent as well. Remember to down some whey protein (1 scoop) first thing as soon as you wake up.

Eat 6-8 meals a day and some grow/cottage cheese and fish oil before you fall asleep. Try to get 1g - 1.2g protein per lb bodyweight daily, and take some chocolate milk with a scoop of whey immediately post WO. you should see a difference just with this.

And the 2 hours post WO are ideal for tucking in the calories (with adequate protein of course) with feeding every hour or so. Try adding weight to the pushups-dips-pullups to stay in the 6-8 rep range. Do back squats/front squats etc and not just bodyweight/hindus. 6 months of eating liek this and mkaing modifications to your routine, post your pics again.

And if I were you, I;d suck it up and stop replying. YOu DON’t want to end up another XCelticX, trust me. There is too much info here on these forums to get a bad rep to redeem yourself over some stray comments.

Nice hourglass shape. Just kidding
YOu are flabby around the midsection but who cares, you have been eating hard sicne you were weaponxxx. Progress is there, but will be much better once you increase the protein content in your diet. Drink chocolate milk post WO (get at least 40gm of protein immediately) if you still want to avoid whey. Cottage cheese, salmon, eggs, beef jerky, fruit, vegetables are what you need to be eating from.

thanks. i have been thinking of trying a good brand of protein supplement ass perhaps the ones i took were shit. which one should i take? which one do you use?

thanks mombooto. That’s very helpful advice. Yeah i’m gonna ignore them. They aren’t worth the hassle anyway. Who’s xcelticx and what happened to him?

Don’t sweat it MuscleBear…look at the retards who flame me- it’s like a hobby. Do I care? No. I tell people realistic things like genetics and evolution so as to make them see the truth as opposed to listening to freaks who believe whatever so-and-so who goes by initials and regurgitate it as if it’s their own conclusions. Kool aid drinkers who say men are made of clay and dinosaur fossils are tricks of the devil…know what I mean? Nevermind them.
lol thanks usns, yeah i will ignore them.

I say more power to you for not using protein powder. Years of literature and real world example really shouldn’t be taken into account when you decide to start lifting. By using protein supplements a few bad things could happen:

 1. You could possibly grow out of control until you are freakishly large simply by accident. Many people don’t realize how careful they should be once they decide to start using protein. To anyone reading I recommend that if you absolutely must use protein you get yourself to a doctor and let them clear you first. You can never be too careful.

 2. Using protein is a slippery slope towards using other supplements like creatine which have actually killed people before, not to mention the damage it can have on your teeth.

 3. You might reach your goals too fast. Many people will tell you that the journey is the most important part. By not using protein you can extend the journey indefinitely. Destination be damned!

In conclusion: Don’t listen to these punk telling you that you’re wrong. You know what you’re doing and these people just don’t understand. They rely on science and experience, but you have your opinion and we all know that that is more reliable.

Good luck to you my friend. May the wind always be at your back and the sun on your face.
Solid.

why are you eating a perfectly nutritious meal of rice and chicken breasts instead of a protein shake.

…don’t forget the kidney beans! Great source of protein as well. Unless of course, your getting those from Taco Bell along with your confessed KFC diet. Perfect diet to accomplish a fatter weapon xxx! The fast food Army awaits…I’m looking forward to the next screen name and avatar you come up with 3 months from now…

Seems he has taken his name off now.

Let me know if you know his new name, cheers.

It was fun while it lasted.

This was amusing.

“There are no stupid questions, just people that are idiots.”

yeah well i can say this…and im talkin straight to wolverine or whatever his name is and everyone here…this guy has ONLY arm developement cause all he did was bi’s and tri’s and walks around town in the muscle shirt while holding his breath sucking that looseness in.

He is going to have WO ADD and use EVERY workout on this site in the matter of a month, and i would love to see him afford 1g/BW of protein every day through chicken rice eggs…etc. Hes gonna fuck his diet in about 3 days and then start up again then fuck it then start again. He can deny all he wants but ill put a tub of Surge on it thats whats going to happen. Rest easy britishmuscle…no need to argue that.

He’s a kid who has become somewhat defensive, probably a side effect of his having to raise his little sister by himself and other family troubles. I don’t blame him.

He does have some muscle on his frame, and seems sincere…and is willing to eat and train and listen to advice. Once he adds weights to his routine, he should see some results. I hope he sticks around this site, makes good progress and returns with good pics.
