Been to over 100 Dead shows and have seen Bruce at least 20 times over the years.
Yep, glad I got to see them when I did.
Rush isn’t touring ever again and weren’t even before Peart’s passing
What a list. Im friends with Greg Allman’s son.
Just heard RATM will be performing only 3 hours away from me…but tickets are $600
I saw Gregg Allman on the Pier in NYC about 40 years ago. I’ve never been to any other show in my life where the vocals were more real. He had a way of making you feel the songs with his voice.
Saw Springsteen in Nashville with Tom Morello on guitar. When they finished Tom Joad, my teenage daughter turned to me and said “what just happened”. Amazing.
Bad ass
Not a concert, but a music-related event I’ll be attending, with old-school hardcore and New York Hardcore songs spinning and some involved people attending.
Last November I saw these guys in Dallas at a place that might hold 500 people. Along with full plate of top shelf Chicago covers, they also did Earth Wing & Fire September; Beatles Got to get you into my life, & Blood Sweat & Tears Spinning wheel. Super tight, high energy show, they really nailed it!
You’ve seen some kickass bands! Was this back in their heydey or as of recent?
Back in the day. I was fortunate to live in NJ just outside NYC. All the bands played the Garden. I started going around 1974. I have stubs from most of the shows. My kids can’t believe how cheap a ticket was back in the 70’s. I also had tickets to see Skynrd, unfortunately, the plane crash put an end to that…

Fucking awesome. How was Nugent ? Halen ?
Just took my wife to her first heavy metal show and it’ll probably be her last
out too late for a woman that needs sleep.
Buuuuut Sons of Texas really kicked ass, so I’ll try to see them again.
Nugent was great, both times…think Double Live Gonzo album.
That 78 TX Jam was just several months after the release of Van Halen’s first album. I think they did every track…crushed it.
You lucky bastard. I’m a huuuuuuge VH fan and love me some terrible Ted too
Van Halen, not Van Hagar.
