Speaking of which … Opeth is playing Cleveland tonight
I get a Kyuss feel from them
I didn’t know you’re a death metal fan. I used to be a huge fan. I saw Morbid Angel and Slayer too.
I went to the Metal Blade 30th Anniversary three years ago. That was awesome.
I actually still think DM is great but I just don’t listen to it much anymore.
Huge fan. Listening to Jungle Rot as we speak.
Saw the Stones in CO a while back, really enjoyed it. It was a pretty chill concert, definitely the most laid back one I’ve ever been to.
I’d like to see Red Hot Chili Peppers sometime - do they still tour? I have no idea, but I really like their music.
As far as other concerts I’ve been to, some Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, etc. but none of you seem to be modern hiphop fans (which I can understand, looking at the majority of them these days).
Stones are coming here in June. My all time favorite band. Im kinda reluctant to go because of phone zombies that plague shows. Those cocksuckers ruined the G n R show
I’ve seen RHCP. Very energetic time.
RHCP is on my bucket list of bands to see, especially now that Frusciante is back with them. I watched a couple concerts they did with that younger kid that replaced him for a minute and it wasn’t the Chili Peppers I wanted to see.
Hope they out out a redemption album after those last two.
Should add some shows I’ve been to but I’ll wait till I’m at a computer.
Anyone listen to New York Hardcore? I want to go to this though I might feel like a senior citizen there.
Used to a lot. Old Agnostic, SOIA, Integrity, Earth Crisis, Murphy’s Law, SOD, in cold blood. Got on stage with SoiA one time.
Last year I went to slayers final Australian concert… (music festival, downloadfest) but got punched in the face in a moshpit (the story is more complicated than that, I caught the pick in a moshpit that the guitarist of behemoth threw into the crowd, well I wrestled it off a few guys, they followed me and attacked me in another pit)… also had my phone taken, so had to go home early because I was in the medical tent area of the concert… Anyhewwwww I had to go home (like an hour and a half away, father had to pick me up and chewed me out on the ride home), didn’t get to see slayer and never will… was super disappointed
Cancelled my credit card but whoever took my phone… which was unlocked (so pics were put up on my snapchat of these guys with my phone)… but they decided to (with tap payments) empty out all my savings (like 200$) by purchasing booze… I actually got the phone back… it was handed into the lost and found eventually… without the pick…
I’m older so most of my concert headliners are dead but here goes from what I can remember.

Too many jazz artist to list. Jazz shows are where I mostly go to see now.
I got a Kerry King pick at the last St Louis show and a Lombardo stick years ago.
Long live Slayer
I haven’t been to too many concerts, but theres many bands i would like to see. Im a big fan of country and rock and i am a guitar player so my list of likes within the music i like is large. The singers i have seen : carolyn dawn johnsen, paul brandt and natalie mcmasters.
Managed to snag tickets to Lamb of God/Megadeth/Trivium/In Flames with a friend of mine I used to be in a band with. I think that makes this year my biggest year of concerts yet, which I’m perfectly happy with.
Megadeth yes. The rest… Meh. Apparently the new LoG is all political. Yawn…
Some of the better shows I’ve been to:
Rush
Rise Against
Lettuce (many times)
George Porter Jr.
Earth Wind and Fire
Tool
The Wailers
Iration
Slightly Stoopid
The Expendables
Brother Ali
Dropkick Murphys
.moe
Umphrees McGee
People Under the Stairs
Eddie Money - sucked but it was a hilarious night
Buddy Guy
I’m forgetting a bunch because festivals will do that, and a lot of the smaller acts I’ve seen and been blow away by I have no idea what the names of those bands are.
I can’t understand Randy at all, so I don’t let it deter me. Not a fan of political stuff, but I can’t hate something I can’t actually hear ![]()
