I think I went from about 18% to around 13%. I lost 4 solid inches on my waist and had visible abs when contracting. @Singhbuilder

I started at 5iu yesterday shot subQ. From today I will shoot it IM just for increased absorption.

I did notice last night that I had an undisturbed 6 hours of sleep and woke up feeling fresh. I only sleep 5 or 6 hours anyway as its all I need but usually I wake up at least twice, however last night I didnt.

So recently I have developed some acne on my back. I never get acne.

Any idea what compound is causing it? EQ? Primo? Proviron?

All three of those compounds are relatively low on the androgenic scale my best guess is it’s a combination.

You recently increased your proviron dose correct? Maybe that caused it?

I get horrible acne with and without gear I’m going to be starting Accutane soon per my dermatologist. In the mean time I find benzoyl peroxide wash helps and I use acne spray for back and shoulders when I get out of shower its a salicylic acid spray the combination of the two helps

You upped the Test to 290. Likely culprit for the acne.

I did indeed increase my proviron to 75mg/d @zeek1414 aswell as increasing test to 290mg @hardartery

I might bring the proviron back down to 50mg and see if that helps, if not then the test back down too.

I assume you’ve competed before so I have a question for you regarding diet. I’ve tried numerous experiments with regard to nutrition and briefly altering my body composition, and I find one of the most drastic differences I’ve ever managed to achieve in a short period of time was with a method in which I ate a very low amount of carbohydrates for about a week, water loaded, high protein then over 2-3 days I’d consume a retarded amount of carbohydrates, like 600-900 grams. It’d give me a far fuller, somewhat more vascular, bigger look, I was able to fluctuate my weight 10+ pounds over the course of a week doing this.

Question is, is there a way to maintain this full look for a few weeks without gaining significant amounts of fat? would a diet very high in carbs yet only eating at or ever so slightly below/ above maintenance work (esp since I’m on mast + test 200/100mg weekly)

I assume you’re referring to supercompensation when the muscles store more glycogen than before.

To be honest, I’ve never thought how I could hold onto that condition but in theory, as you said, keeping cals at or slightly below maintenance while the bulk of them coming from good quality carbs should keep you full. Let me know how you get on. @unreal24278

Been on the GH for about 2.5weeks now and the water retention is pretty crazy. Will it soon disappear because I’m feeling bloated as hell. Was the GH you used pharma? Because I’m reading mixed opinions on bloating and HGH, some say if you bloat its not HGH you’re taking and others say its a good sign that you have got HGH.

Mine was generic UGL, very likely from China. I’m trying to remember how long the water lasted. I think about a month. I just know that my weight kept going up and up til I peaked at 222 (started at 208). Finally the water began to come off then the fat.

I dont know about ā€œbloatā€ per se but I do know water retention is a symptom of GH use.

How do your joints feel? When I was water logged, my knees felt amazing, liked wrapped in rubber.

Now that you mention the joints, I actually dont have any pain in my rotator cuff which I have had for years. Its hard to explain, but overall I just feel ā€œflowingā€. Like everything just feels as it should if that makes sense? Haha.

In regards to the water, its really playing havoc on my mind, if you read in my new thread, I’m very much behind and I think the water is compounding my issue. Will definitely cut the GH around 3 weeks before the show. @studhammer

Also, anyone have any knowledge on refeeds? I might do one today and see how many carbs it takes for me to ā€˜spill over’. Thoughts?

If I’m doing a 1 day refeed I usually stick to simple high GI carbs and carbs and I stay away from wheat products because they bloat my stomach il add in a bit of natural sugars and as little sodium as possible. I’m 6 foot 234 i usually eat about 700 grams of carbs to fully saturate if I’m real depleted. I would imagine at your size 4-500 should do the trick.

Iv found eating small carb meals every hour or so is easier then 4 or 5 big meals.

So I did a refeed of up to 500g of carbs but ended eating too much gluten so bloated a fair bit and didnt fill out much.

@jackolee maybe chime in. Pics are above as is cycle, I’m currently 4 weeks out and feeling like i got another 5% BF to lose at least. Whats your thoughts? You looked amazing at your last show.

So I’m my opinion when cutting for a show a Refeed isnt really necessary unless you just don’t have the energy to get your ass into the gym. I simply timed my carb intake around my workouts and tried to minimize them the rest of the day.

The leaner you get the more you will notice bloating. When there’s not fat over your belly you just see it more. It could be due to too much fiber in your diet. I had this towards the end. I was eating way too much broccoli. Switched to green beans and zucchini and bam! No more bloat. Also I’d recommend taking a quality blended digestive enzyme.

I read some of the above thread but not all and might of missed what your diet is like. Honestly at this point Diet is everything

Looked much more dry today. Still carb depleted but strong and vascular as hell.

Thank you @jackolee for chiming in. My carb intake is 100g on training days around my workouts and 70g on rest days. I physically cannot go any lower since I do not eat any animal products, so its hard to get pure protein in. So you recommend no carb refeed, to be honest I have energy but dont feel lean enough so maybe I’ll just slug it out at this pace.

Thank you! Well currently I wear 30inch waist trousers but need a tight belt. I would say its around 28inches right now. On my previous cut it dropped to around 26.5ish. @studhammer

Taperworm :wink: haha this is why I want to do mens physique. I saw Branch Warren once in a gym and he recommended me to compete in mens physique a few years ago because of my proportions, ever since then its been a goal of mine.
