Community for Penny Stock Enthusiasts

Ok this is for all you poor starving bodybuilding students, anyone with an annual income under 20K dollars or less. If you have been trading pennies (or are interested in them) look up http://www.drpennystock.com (got it from a guy on drsquat.com :d) its a free forum where we get together and discuss daily and weekly picks and the good doctor participated and lets us know beforehand what he’s buying or selling. One of the beter communities I’ve participated in and so far its working out nice. Take a look if you’re interested.

I didn’t read through all his posts-- how is he trading and what are his trading fees?

Thats crazy, so you just follow and buy the stocks he buys. Seems like a wild ride.

I would never follow this path…

I was curious to the real cost of what he’s doing and put up money in an average CD and compare yield at the end of a year, 3, and 5

I’d snag as much ASFX as I possibly could right now…I’m already wrist deep in it.

It’s not an investment, it’s trading.

I’m sorry-- what’s the goal of trading stocks again?

To use really cool words.

Hey, there are no fees. I post on the forum meself as tribunaldude. A little bit of recent history

Currently engaging in bottom fishing as the current government’s fuck-ups push more investment fat cats into the pink sheets.

After hanging around int he community, last week:
I picked up 1000 FRE@1.16, sold 1000@1.46 (yes. too early but needed the cash)
3500 LEHMQ@0.145 sold @0.395 (saw some weakness and sold off…will try to get back in Monday of it opens above .25)
bought 3000 LEHM@0.27 sold same day@0.34 (didn;t have the balls to hold over the weekend)

They do incur losses from time to time, but you’ll know when tthe stock starts showing some weakness yourself and you can post on the forum. Its a free community where you can discuss shit

I also plan to keep an eye on WM (WaMu) as it gets shifted to the pink sheets (assuming it isn;t just delisted) a solid bottom play there. They use Technical Analysis and Chart Tools (PAR-SAR, MACD, RSI) for the decisions. Check out the forum and you’ll see its a neat setup) he’s currently trying out some challenge where he’s trying to change 1000$ to 1,000,000 USD in a year…lets you see every trade he’s making on covestor.com and you can discuss it with him and everyone else on the forum. So far his challenge account is up to 4345 (in less than a month) some of the followers are way ahead of him (better entry/exit points), I myself was able to outdo the big guy on his OWN picks just by getting in/getting out better.

So its a free community, take a gander!

Not necessary, he did not get in OR want us to get in FRE as he felt it was risky but since a few bought it we posted about it and rode it out for massive profits. he kept posting his opinion on the thread. Its all about TA here.

The challenge seems pretty cool whats the worst that happens you lose a $1000. What type of account do they want one to open? Seems they prefer TD Ameritrade and Zecco.

I use ETRADE. No idea about zecco…but if brokerage is making a serious dent in your profits, then you don;t kknow to make a profitable trade :))

Seems Zecco is the best for the amount of trades. Ally Invest: Self-Directed Online Trading & Automated Investing

He uses Zecco mainly because it allows international customers to trade stock more conveniently. Use whatever broker you have been using so far. Make sure he offers you real-time quotes though.

If you make some money (I hope you do), do report it here.

Ok, I got a few messages from people interested in this, but I wanted to keep this thread alive for a bit.
This is NOT for well-settled folk looking for long term investments. If you want to turn 100,000 to 1,000,000 in 10 years there are better ways to achieve that with minimal effort on your part. penny stock trading needs continuous monitoring of the market, great anxiety and significant risk. Ive been doing this for a while now, and I never venture into a trade with anymore than a thousand dollars. if you plunk all your cash into a trade, you may make a killing or more likely get killed within the hour.

So anyway, this is for students or people who have a couple of thousand dollars of house money and would like to use it to draw a steady income every month (400-1000 if you aren’t a complete idiot), and if you have some experience trading penny stocks, do give this forum a try. Don’t trade anything till you understand everything about everything!
I wanted to rename this thread to “make money with tribunaldude” but I first want to hear from people whove visited the forum, traded a few of the active picks and made some cash this week.
I;m posting this here since

A: I know there are a lot of students on here, and trading penny stock judiciously is a great way to make some extra money. If nothign else, learn something about TA and charting.
B; I;m generally considered to be a person of sound mind and character, trustworthy and 100% rational. So the complete noobs have some sort of psychological support.

So … if you made some cash or have some comments before visiting the forum, pen them.

Umm someone made a thread about me on the bb forum about me having other profiles lol.

I just bumped this thread to remind everyone I already mentioned these profiles earlier and there are 5 T-Nation members who now post on these communities and whom I share trading ideas with.

That said, I invite more members lol.

I’m always hesitant with penny stock forums. They always seem to be full of a few guys who tell all the noobs their picks just so the noobs will go out and raise the price and bam the head guys made their profit while the noobs get fucked.

TD: any good reading material to get the gist of the stock market? I’ll be very interested in this in ~1.5 years. How much time do you spend on thisa day and how much do you get from it?
