Yes as usual The Daily SHow pretty much answers all questions.
damn i cant find the article now on yahoo but i read it this morning and i guess those speeches at the end were not meant to be bleeped out and neither one of them mentioned either of the two things that comedy central was bleeping out but they still decided to bleep it and the creators were not happy about it. i guess it had to do with standing up for self and so on, but apparently comedy central didnt like it. that seems wrong especially since it wasnt even mentioning what comedy central had a problem with.

I will personally and publicly be participating in this.
But, my art skills are in the negative, so people might not even notice.
Um, shit. I can’t draw well at all. I hope a stick figure with a beard counts.
I haven’t seen the SouthPark episode yet, is it funny?

No. Not at all. In fact, if it weren’t for the fact that some of these guys think the show is “edgy”, I doubt it would have as much of a following. It is now more a pop culture icon because rarely have I turned that show on and just started literally laughing out loud.
Their social commentary hasn’t grown much either since they first gained popularity.
That’s one reason I hate it when they make fun of shows like The Simpsons or Family Guy…because both of those shows literally have me laughing hard at times with The Simpsons deserving credit for truly being funny for so long before their popularity faded.

I disagree with Comedy Central censorship, but this is plain stupid.
Everytime they talked about him the only thing they said was that if he is seen in south park, south park will come to an end. All the while Buddha was snorting coke on the episode and noone is making a big deal out of that. I also feel sorry for the real Muslims for having to be associated with extremists.

I dont. Where are the moderates to condemn the acts of Radicals? Where is the voice of reason and say “Hey,We do not support this. This is not what we are about”. Where are they? All they do is sit back and watch and let the radicals be their voice. They haven’t done anything to help cool things down.

Haven’t seen it yet, but I am guessing it’s not. South Park hasn’t been that good since season 11, in my mind.
For the decade before that, though, it seems as though every episode they pumped out can be considered a ‘classic’. No real duds spring to mind once the show hit its stride.
Had this episode been made during that time, I’m sure it would have been great. Now, I’m sure it was mediocre.

It’s all just a matter of opinion. There are very few college age people who don’t watch South Park at least every once in a while. South Park is popular because of how ruthlessly they attack everything and everyone. I’ve never likes The Simpsons that much because of how innocent it is. Family Guy, to me, has always seemed like a bunch of random unconnected jokes that have nothing to do with the plot that they forced together. That show also tends to drag jokes or one liners on and on for literally minutes, which bugs me.

Kid, I was in college when that show first started and I still don’t get the huge following it has. It isn’t that edgy. It is hardly ever really funny.
But then, you are probably the type who likes shows like Jackass. You don’t really understand comedy and get it mixed up with “ruthless attacks” all for the spectacle of it all.
Question, how often are you truly laughing out loud at the screen during a SouthPark episode?
I fucking hate this bullshit. If they killed Trey Parker or Matt Stone,I would probably hate all Muslims and everything about the religion as a result.
I think south park is funny as hell and laugh at it all the time.

Humor is a matter of opinion, though. I don’t think it’s fair to assume anyone who thinks Jackass or South Park are funny don’t get real humor. It may even be true for a majority, but anytime a show has a big following there will be a lot of idiots among the fanbase. I love South Park, I got a kick out of Jackass, and I love Arrested Development, which is funny in an entirely different way (i.e. what most critics would call “real comedy”). I can see where someone wouldn’t like South Park, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have its merits. I think it’s funniest when it is lampooning celebrities and the like, but that isn’t the only positive of the show.

OK, so your opinion is that it’s not that funny. Millions of others happen to disagree. Fortunately for me, Comedy Central airs the show based on the millions of people who DO enjoy Matt and Trey’s work and not what gets Professor X’s lolz on.
Of course, they could just be a coupla evil masterminds, tricking people into enjoying their crap show for - what? - 14 seasons now? Jackass came and went… South Park is still going.
I never got the appeal of Jackass. I DO like Family Guy (but not the spinoffs). I think The Simpsons was a genius show for so long it’s fucking ridiculous and Seinfeld rocked my world for many, many years. But it’s definitely lame to accuse someone of “not really understanding comedy” or belittling their opinion simply because they happen to disagree with you. If that wasn’t such a douchey thing to do, I’d never stop arguing with Monty Python or Aqua Teen Hunger Force fans.

Arrested Development is awesome.
For instance:
We do a better job here of making fun of dumb youtube videos. They basically had a whole segment using borrowed material…and again, not funny.
The guys from the youtube vids may be funny to
